Joe Bob’s Jokes

Joe Bob, Can you please show Phantom of the Paradise, The Devils with Oliver Reed, or Burnt Offerings. On a more personal note, I am so happy to see you on Shudder. I'm a nurse who works in the ER. To say the least COVID has made life challenging. Reconnecting with you, the b-movies, zombies, horror, and all the squishy bits has been an amazing outlet for me to escape to. Thank you from all of us in quarantine needing an escape. Much love and admiration to you, Darcy, and the drive-in crew. Stay safe . Ryan C. (Columbus, OH) Hey Ryan! Two of your three choices are movies I showed on my previous show MonsterVision, but yeah! You're doing the Lord's work! Hang in there, Joe Bob

Mr. Briggs, I am the guy who created and built the Texas Chainsaw Memorial Bench. A friend sent me a photo of you standing beside the bench when you visited The Gas Station. I was wanting to know if there is a way I could print the photo and send to you to autograph it for me. It would mean the world to me if I could. Thank you, Eric B. Hey Eric, I would be happy to sign the photo for you. Just send it to me! All my best, Joe Bob

Joe Bob, I just wanted to let you know that you mean a lot to me. I was at your gig at the Austin Film Society last night and despite the fact that I arrived like three hours early and was one of the first fans there (I was the weird looking bearded guy sitting on the couch near the entrance who eyed you a couple times trying to figure out if it was actually you), I got too anxious/nervous to go up and say anything to you. I remember being pretty shocked that you were just walking around in the open, I assumed it would be like a Guns N' Roses concert where Axl Rose never appears until the show actually starts. I kept thinking to myself "Ah, don't bother him, you'll have a chance to meet him at the signings later", But then I kept talking myself out of it every time the signings were going on cause I thought I'd weird you out. I have Asperger's and I tend to have weird speech patterns. I don't know why I'm writing this email to you honestly, but it's one of those things I wanted to get off my chest because I've been filled with nothing but regret since last night. Next time you're in the Austin/Round Rock area I'll make sure to talk to you and maybe get a picture with you. Your show was amazing, and I hope you can keep yourself
