The Position In partnership with the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Dean of Undergraduate Admission will lead the university’s efforts to recruit and shape new cohorts of intellectually prepared, exceptionally talented and diverse students. As an integral member of the Office of Enrollment Management’s leadership team and in partnership with the academic deans of Pacific’s undergraduate schools/colleges, the Dean will develop, lead and manage the university’s undergraduate recruitment, application selection and matriculation processes. The Dean will lead a team of on-campus firstyear and transfer student recruiters, regional recruiters and college-based liaisons charged with recruiting undergraduate students.

The Dean of Undergraduate Admission joins a robust strategic enrollment management team composed of graduate admission, financial aid, enrollment operations and enrollment marketing professionals. The successful candidate will have an established record demonstrating both the art and science of selective college admission work and will be charged with building and sustaining recruitment programs that fortifies Pacific’s market position. As a visible presence on- and off-campus and a strong collaborator among faculty and staff, the Dean will be an effective spokesperson for the university.
