Please join us as an exhibitor at the premier Western Canada PDC Lab Expo The Pacific Dental Conference and Dental Technicians Association of BC are committed to delivering a scientific program that focuses on areas of specialty that will enhance skills, knowledge and the practice of dental technology.

The PDC Lab Expo will bring together dental technicians, denturists, dentists and their teams, to meet a selection of top notch companies to exchange information and forge new business relationships as companies display their latest technologies and advancements.

The PDC Lab Expo takes place in the Vancouver Convention Centre, West Building. The exhibits will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, March 10 and attendees are provided with frequent opportunities to visit you throughout the day. The Keynote Speaker Presentation will take place in the PDC Lab Expo Exhibits area, along with the ‘Showcase Stage’ running demonstrations throughout the day.

Booth and Display Structure Regulations For any booths which do not conform to the design regulations, written approval of the variation must be obtained from the Pacific Dental Conference by January 20, 2018.

Cancellation Policy An exhibitor who cancels in writing prior to December 1, 2017 will forfeit 50% of the exhibit booth fee. For cancellations on or after December 1, 2017, 100% of exhibit booth fee will be forfeited.

Booth Assignment

Booth assignment will be done by the PDC Lab Expo committee and will be based on first-come first-served. Notification of booth location will be sent in January 2018.

Exhibitor Services Kit An Exhibitor Services Kit will be provided to each registered exhibitor by Levy Show Services.

The kit will include information regarding exhibit set-up and strike, order forms for additional rental items as well as Material Handling Order Forms. The kit will also include Customs and Shipping Forms from Davidson & Sons Custom Brokers Ltd. so that you can ensure safe shipping of your products and booth.

Exhibitor Compliance Requirements

To ensure the health and safety of Canadians, companies exhibiting and selling devices or products at the Pacific Dental Conference must have a current Canadian Establishment and/or Product Licence issued by Health Canada. On our website, www.pdconf.com, go to the For Exhibitors tab and click on the FAQ’s to find out what you need to know. Pacific Dental Conference reserves the right to cancel any booth request who does not comply with Health Canada requirements. Information on guidelines for Establishment and Product Licenses can be found on Health Canada’s website at ww.hc-sc.gc.ca under Drug & Health Products, Compliance & Enforcement, Medical Devices. All companies exhibiting devices or products are required to submit a list of items to be displayed, along with the Medical device Licence information by February 1st, 2018. Davidson & Sons, official customs brokers, will contact you in December 2017 as a reminder.

Exhibition Move In and Set Up Times All displays must be in assigned areas, completed and ready for inspection, by 8:00am on March 10, 2018.

No display material, except hand-carried, may be moved through the exhibit area after the show’s opening.

In the event an exhibitor fails to set up within the specified time, their property may be removed and stored at the sole expense of the exhibitor.

Dismantling Time No booth may be dismantled earlier than 5:00pm, Saturday, March 10, 2018 and all exhibit material must be packed and removed from the exhibit floor by 7:30pm, unless previous arrangements have been made.

Name Badges for PDC Lab Expo Exhibitors Lab Expo name badges are issued to all Lab Expo exhibitors for Saturday only. Exhibitors with badges from Thursday and Friday are not permitted into the Saturday Expo without a Lab Expo badge.

Lab Expo name badges can be picked up at the Exhibitor registration desk beginning at 7:00am and photo ID is required when picking up your badge. Each representative must pick up his/her own badge.

PDC Lab Expo Showcase Stage Our new ‘Showcase Stage’ located in the Lab Expo Exhibits area will be available for exhibitors to book 30 minute time slots where you can demonstrate your latest products and technology. There are 4 spots available (no charge) and this opportunity will be available on a first come first served basis. Each of these are half hour blocks with 15 minutes for set-up/takedown.

PDC Conference Program – Advertising Opportunity There are a limited number of advertising spaces available in the PDC Lab Expo section of the PDC Conference Program. Approximately 17,000 programs will be printed and about 5,000 of those will be mailed out in January prior to the conference to pre-registered attendees and dental offices.
