The Team Behind The Innovation
Trying to meet the needs of a few local restaurants, in 1988 a team of just seven employees worked hard to provide an additional service to our customers by developing easy-to-implement meal solutions that chefs would be proud to serve in their kitchens. Over the years, that group of seven employees has expanded to a team of 83. Combining the efficiency of mechanization and hand cutting skill, our talented Prepared Foods team provides low cost options to local restaurants, food service establishments, and retail stores across the Pacific Northwest.
From day one, quality and consistency have been our bread and butter. It is because of our hard-working people, fresh produce, and ability to adapt to the needs of the customer that we can provide unsurpassed, top-of-the-line products and services. We only use premium, #1 produce because we believe that #2 product just won’t cut it.

Executive Chef Lacy Larson
We take “chef inspired” to a whole new level with our very own in-house chef. For the last five years, Chef Lacy Larson has been developing our authentic, delicious recipes that work on a large scale for a diverse range of customer needs. We pride ourselves in providing innovative products with unique flavor profiles that will help our customers stay on the cutting edge of the food industry. Chef Lacy is always available to our customers for new product research and development as well as in-kitchen and in-store training. Chef Lacy studied at Oregon Culinary Institute and has worked in fine dining restaurants and retail deli’s across the nation. Her experience truly is an invaluable tool to our Prepared Foods department.
