Solene Frankston Brochure

Page 1

Solene is where contemporary coastal living finds its balance. Tracing the curves of Frankston’s Kananook Creek, the sculpted residences offer daily connection to nature with proximity to the city and the Mornington Peninsula. The architecture by Bates Smart in collaboration with Pace Development Group, paired with interiors by Cera Stribley, evokes the natural tones and textures of the surrounding landscape, creating spaces that feel calm and enduring. Delivering modern amenities, including a beach club, cinema, gym, residents' lounge and rooftop infinity pool, Solene brings everything — urban convenience, community connection, and an active life by the water — within reach.

NATURE

At Solene, nature is not something visited but experienced. Morning light, open skies and the coastal breeze bring the landscape into living spaces. Here, the community wakes to walking trails, botanical gardens and birdsong, and drifts off to sounds of the sea. Expansive and ever-changing, Solene’s natural surroundings inspire and influence its context.

LIFESTYLE

A lifestyle shaped by the rhythm of the coast. A gateway to the Mornington Peninsula. Solene nurtures that coveted balance: the ebb and flow of recreation and relaxation. Healthy outdoor living meets modern conveniences, emphasising a sense of ease and permanence for years to come.

Ample parklands, cycling tracks, and swimmable beaches provide a yearround connection to nature and experiences that prioritise health and wellbeing. Closer to home, cafés, restaurants and arts spaces enliven the Frankston promenade, connecting the community with countless ways to entertain and unwind. Fostering a sense of calm and connection, Solene promises the ease of seaside living.

DESIGN

Calming, tactile and distinctively sculptural. Solene’s design pays homage to its environment. Ample curves mirror the natural bends of a neighbouring creek. Staggered terraces emulate surrounding headlands. Inspired by a coastline shaped by the elements, Solene’s refined palette is drawn from the shore.

Solene’s architectural design by Bates Smart in collaboration with Pace Development Group responds to Frankston’s urban and natural context. Taking inspiration from the way water creates channels through a riverbed, the design team envisioned a central podium that makes way for two towers. Each features continuous terraces with horizontal banding to create an interplay of light, shadow and texture; evocative of coastal rock formations. A transparent passage links hallways between the towers, offering residents a light-filled corridor between buildings with a view of Frankston’s urban centre and the sea. Creekside apartments feature sun-drenched balconies and generous living spaces with integrated landscaping inspired by the postcode’s ecology. Facing the city, Solene exudes more metropolitan qualities with spacious terraces, uninterrupted skyline views and more angular features. The project melds modern conveniences with bayside sensibilities. From its sculpted planes to its generous rooftop gardens, Solene makes consistent architectural references to the landscape surrounding the Kananook Creek corridor.

Designed by Cera Stribley, Solene’s interiors evoke a quiet luxury. A curated selection of warm timber and stone draws inspiration from the site’s urban-coastal character. Shared spaces are artfully composed with layering, texture and a considered use of tones, while private spaces feel more restrained, offering moments of connection and rest. From tailored joinery to carefully considered interior finishes, every feature is designed with ease, simplicity and discretion in mind. With consideration for how residents genuinely use and experience each space, Cera Stribley have included details both functional and refined, enduring and lowmaintenance. Prioritising flow, support and connection, Cera Stribley have positioned each space for richer interactions within and surrounding the home.
