Palestine Day on Palestine Way: A Day of Resilience and Representation
The Palestinian American Community Center of New Jersey is honored to host this year’s Palestine Day On Palestine Way: A Day of Resilience and Representation, on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 1 PM to 7 PM between Gould Ave and Dey Street.
This year, Palestine Day is a powerful tribute to our resilience, identity, and unwavering strength. For decades, Palestinians have faced ongoing violence, yet our spirit remains unshaken. Through music, art, Dabka, and food, we celebrate our heritage and affirm our existence. Little Palestine is more than a community—it is a testament to our sumud (steadfastness) and unity. Join us as we honor our roots, share our stories, and stand proud together.

Inspired by Refaat Alareer above quote, Palestine Day emphasizes that no matter the circumstances, Palestinian identity is alive through culture, language, traditions, and collective memory. In all we do, we honor those actively facing the lived realities of occupation, colonialism, and apartheid. By being unapologetic and in community, we remind ourselves and the world of our commitment to them, to our right of return, and to the liberation of Palestine.
In addition to dedicating the day to Palestinian culture and heritage, we are hosting various local vendors and businesses that support Palestine, offering Palestine education for all ages, raising funds for critical support on the ground in Gaza, and getting our community ready to have their voices civically heard this election season and beyond.
On Palestine Day on Palestine Way, we illustrate how Palestine lives in us, today, tomorrow and always- until Palestine is Free!
