Jim Breuer is an American actor and comedian from New York. He was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 1998 and starred in the film Half Baked! He has a hit weekly podcast called, The Breuniverse, where he brings people from all walks of life together. Jim’s stand-up comedy tackles all subjects from marriage and relationships to current events to love and loss (and so much more) all with one goal in mind - to leave people with a little more hope than they arrived!

Steve-O (a.k.a. Stephen Glover) has become a household name and it all started when he snatched a video camera from his father’s closet when he was fifteen years old. From there he started producing homemade skateboarding videos featuring dangerous stunts mixed with comical behavior. Eventually, Steve-O’s videos made it into the hands of Jeff Tremaine (Jackass Creator/Director/Producer) who was working with Johnny Knoxville to create a stunt based reality show. The rest is history.

Before he got behind the wheel of The Cash Cab, Ben Bailey began his career as a stand-up comedian. As a young man, Bailey left his home (a small town in New Jersey) and headed to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of a career in show business. Just a few weeks later, he found himself onstage at The Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip and quickly became a crowd favorite at the clubs in New York City. He has since performed at all the major festivals, including Montreal and Chicago (Just For Laughs), the (hallowed & former) Aspen Comedy Arts Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and at clubs and theatres around the world.

Syracuse native Sexton got his start singing in the streets and subways of Boston in the early 90’s. Still fiercely independent and headlining venues from The Fillmore to Carnegie Hall, he has influenced a generation of contemporary artists. His songs have appeared in television series such as Scrubs, Parenthood, Masters of Sex, and in numerous films, though it’s his incendiary live show, honest lyrics, and vocal prowess that keep fans coming back for more.

Since the early 80’s, “1964”...The Tribute has been thrilling audiences all over the globe with what Rolling Stone Magazine has called the “Best Beatles Tribute on Earth”, taking audiences on a journey through a quintessential moment in music history. Unlike other acts, “1964” concentrates on only the “touring years” of the Beatles. “1964” has accomplished an astonishingly accurate re-creation of the energy and the magic of those touring years. Over 20 years of researching and performing have made “1964” masters of their craft.

The Boxmasters were formed long ago when W.R. ‘Bud’ Thornton went in to a fast food chicken restaurant in Bellflower, California and got in an argument with the young man working the counter over a coleslaw incident. That young man was J.D. “J.D.” Andrew. The incident turned out to be a misunderstanding and the two had a laugh about it and they became fast friends. They started hanging out together and eventually discovered that they had both come to California in search of the big time in the world of sixties inspired rock and roll. They also shared a love of 60’s pop and rock music and the 60’s in general. They decided to combine those things and form a band. The boys include among their main influences, Michael Nesmith, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, the great bands of the British Invasion, The Monkees, The Wilburn Brothers, and Dell Reeves.

Born in Chicago, Roger McGuinn began his professional musical career at age seventeen when the Limelighters drafted him after an evening of jamming with them at the Gate of Horn. They invited him to record on their first RCA album in Los Angeles. The Chad Mitchell Trio heard about his guitar and banjo talent and hired him as an accompanist. McGuinn is a three time Grammy nominee and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his work with the Byrds.

Ana Egge is a singer-songwriter and apprentice luthier from Brooklyn, NY. She has released 13 studio albums, playing her homemade guitar. Egge’s music has been praised by critics for its honesty, vulnerability, and beauty. She was born in Canada, and raised in North Dakota, and has toured extensively throughout North America and Europe. Egge is the subject of a 2015 documentary film, Bright Shadow.

Emily Portman’s journey to prominence began when she covered Loretta Lynn’s songs, earning acclaim for her uncanny vocal resemblance. Ross Mintzer plays a live set of original songs in the Jamf Theatre. Mintzer plays saxophone and guitar live with his recorded music. He transitioned to making music on his computer in his late twenties. Since self-releasing songs on the internet his music has connected with people around the world.

The book festival is a multi-day celebration of the written word. Most events take place in Downtown Eau Claire and all are free and open to the public. The festival boasts virtual and in-person attendance options and this year’s program spans a range of literary genres and diverse subject matter.
Since 2009, the Chippewa Valley Jazz Orchestra’s goal has been to raise public awareness of the richness and complexity of the one true American musical art form—jazz—with musicians in the Chippewa Valley including full-time performers, music educators, students, and other community members with a passion for the art of the big band. This collection of talent makes it possible for the CVJO to tackle a wide variety of musical styles and eras, and their concerts reflect both the traditions that are the underpinnings of jazz as well as the works of modern composers.
The Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Conductor and Music Director Nobuyoshi Yasuda, is in its 50th season. CVSO’s mission is to provide excellent symphonic experiences to audiences in the Chippewa Valley. CVSO’s motto is “Music you love by people you know.”
The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild is a volunteer-driven arts organization serving the region for more than 40 years. The Theatre Guild develops, encourages, and promotes opportunities for community members of all ages to experience live theatre, whether in the audience, on stage, behind the scenes or in a classroom at Pablo Center and at The Grand.
The Chippewa Valley Writers Guild is committed to supporting writers throughout the region. Since 2016, the Guild has helped hundreds of writers publish their work. More importantly, it provides a nurturing environment for writers to thrive. The Guild is a member of the Wisconsin Poet Laureate Commission and an affiliate partner of the Pablo Center at the Confluence and the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire Foundation.
Established in 1946, the Eau Claire Male Chorus is the longeststanding performing arts group in the Chippewa Valley. A brotherhood of those who love music, these amazing singers are directed by David Fehr who also performs in The Master Singers.
The Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra has brought professional chamber music to the Chippewa Valley of Western Wisconsin for over 25 years. The orchestra is proud to bring music to the Chippewa Valley region that is performed by approximately 40 musicians with careers leading them to perform internationally and to teach in university and professional studio settings.
Since its founding in 1989, the Eau Claire Children’s Theatre has provided quality theatrical performances for theatre lovers of all ages as cast, crew, and audience members. A volunteer-driven nonprofit organization, ECCT has dedicated more than 30 years of service to the community.
Eau Claire Jazz Inc. supports and promotes the cultural awareness and appreciation of jazz music through two main events: the Gatsby’s Gala and the Eau Claire Jazz Festival.This festival is the largest and longest-running intern-run jazz festival in the world. Jazz Inc. is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for students and world-class entertainment for the greater Eau Claire community.
Going strong for more than 30 years, The Master Singers, a community chamber ensemble with membership from throughout the Greater Chippewa Valley— performs repertoire from a rich choral tradition.

At Pablo Center’s ARTmobile, we are always exploring new ways to use the power of art to inspire and ignite imaginations.
ARTmobile is continuing its free arts outreach to children and families in the Chippewa Valley. We are expanding its reach by producing and posting online content featuring fun and educational art projects on Pablo Center’s social media channels and website, as well as pop up visits throughout the community by the ARTmobile educators. We make the work of art easy by providing step-by-step instructions, supply lists, and educational content.

The RCU Theatre is a Broadway-style theatre that can hold more than 1,200 seated patrons. With state-of-the-art sound and lighting, a lift orchestra pit, and internationally recognized acoustics, the RCU Theatre provides artists with the unique opportunity to perform in a venue that ranks within the top 90% in the world for non-amplified sound and in the top 95% for amplified sound. This grand, yet intimate, theatre serves as a world-class venue for new shows and cherished annual performances with attendees sitting no more than 80 feet from the stage.
The Jamf Theatre is the largest hybrid black box theatre in the Midwest and one of the five largest of its kind in the nation. This flexible space can hold approximately 400 seated patrons in proscenium style or up to 260 guests at round tables on the floor. This unique brick-walled space can be reconfigured to meet the needs of each production and its guests, making it ideal for concerts, conferences, theatrical performances, fundraisers, and seated meals. Pablo Center at the Confluence operates under a unique mission of providing transformative learning experiences to diverse audiences. It is through this mission that we seek to unite industry professionals, students, and the community at-large via creative collaborations, creating infinite possibilities, and opportunities for all. Programs offered include:
To engage students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), Pablo Center offers a range of opportunities for students to design, build, program, and even compete with robots. LEGO League is an introduction to competitive robotics for students in 6th-8th grade. FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a robotics team for students in 8-12 grade who want to challenge themselves with science, technology, and business skills; students say it is the “hardest fun you’ll ever have.”
Relaxed activities cater to the diverse needs of children by offering a variety of engaging and inclusive experiences. These initiatives are carefully designed to create environments that are welcoming and accommodating to individuals with sensory sensitivities, such as those with autism spectrum disorder or other sensory processing differences. By prioritizing sensory-friendly approaches, these programs foster a supportive atmosphere where every child can feel comfortable, confident, and fully engaged in their learning journey. Girls Who Code provides a space for students to explore coding in a fun and friendly environment. Clubs are completely free and offer fun activities through a flexible curriculum that adapts to each students’ unique needs. Classes for grades 3-5 and 6-8 will occur each fall.
Pablo Center’s summer school programming offers challenging and engaging classes for students in grades 3-12 to explore new topics and build new passions. Previous courses included: LEGO Robotics, STEAM Camp, Art and Painting, Fractured Fairy Tales, Backstage Business, Game Design, and more! Registration opens in March each year.
Pablo Center strives to create unique educational experiences for area schools and community groups throughout the year. This includes school matinees, lectures/demos, tours, and gallery experiences. The Building:
From both the Gibson Street and main entrance there is level access to the BMO Box Office. There is elevator access to second and third floors, and handicap accessible and individual bathrooms on the first and third floors. Service dogs are welcome. Valet is also free for any patron who has an injury or handicap.
W heelchair
There are wheelchair spaces available in both theatres as well as companion seating - please reserve when making your booking. Easily accessible seating can be reserved for audience members who prefer to transfer from a wheelchair to a seat.
Upon request, an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter can be provided for performances. To request ASL services, please contact the box office at least two weeks ahead of the performance. ASL services are not guaranteed. Pablo Center also has hearing loops available at the BMO Box Office.
Whether it’s a pre-show drink or a snack, Pablo Center has delicious and desirable options for everybody. The bars open two hours prior to every performance so come early and make it a night.
Pablo Center is bringing an artisan approach to its bar with monthly handcrafted cocktails, craft beer, and a range of spirits from local to high-end while also stocking area favorites.
