INTRODUCTION Welcome to OZ Kink Fest 2025 WEEKEND WORKSHOP INTENSIVE! This weekend represents a gathering point for the Kink, Bondage, Fetish, and BDSM communities of Australia and beyond. We’ve organised a series of workshops led by established practitioners from both domestic and international scenes. These sessions, tailored specifically for Oz Kink Fest, offer attendees insights, techniques, demonstrations, hands-on-learning and discussions from leading practitioners in the scene.

Your participation is an opportunity to engage directly with experts and deepen your understanding of the practices and dynamics that interest you.

Arrival Guidelines To ensure a smooth check-in process, please arrive approximately an hour before the start of your first workshop. This provides adequate time to familiarize yourself with the venue and retrieve your event map.

DRESS CODE Express yourself but we recommend comfortable attire is recommended for all workshops to ensure an unobstructed experience.

CATERING OPTIONS Given the limited food options in the vicinity of the venue, attendees have the option to bring their own meals. Alternatively, we are offering a variety of omnivore and vegan meals for preorder.

Saturday Lunch: $20 Sunday Lunch: $20 Both Days: $35 Menu will include vegetarian, vegan and general options - however if you have food allergies such as gluten free etc we recommend you bring your own food.

Complimentary beverages, including coffee, tea, and water will be available throughout the event.

HAJIME KINOKO

ADVANCED SHIBARI

HAJIME KINOKO Hajime Kinoko (he/him) took up rope for the first time in 2001, because his then-girlfriend was interested in rope. When the rope master Akechi Denki held a workshop at the club he was working at, Kinoko really learned the meaning of tying people.

In 2008, Kinoko began taking lessons from Nawashi Kanna, who was a student of Akechi Denki. From Kanna, Kinoko learned to tie intricately and beautifully. The Gote shibari that Kinoko now teaches is based on Kanna’s tying and slightly customized.

Later Kinoko met Haruki Yukimura, and took lessons from him for several years. From Yukimura, Kinoko learned how to interact with models, how to show a model’s body line in an aesthetically pleasing way, among other techniques.

In 2018, most of the techniques Kinoko has been teaching are based on Kanna’s method whom he refers to as his former teacher to express his gratitude for using his method for 10 years. Kinoko’s pioneering and dynamic style with Cyber Rope is now legendary and he travels world wide teaching and performing.

Kinoko is also a founding member of Ichinawa-kai and an organizer of the Toubaku International Rope Bondage event. Kinoko has been profiled on VICE and appeared on Anthony Bourdain’s “Parts Unknown: Tokyo.”

Danielle’s kink journey has taken her around the globe. Earlier this year, she toured internationally, playing in Hong Kong and Thailand. SAFETY FOR SUBMISSIVES

Serotonins Serotonins is a proud queer woman, sex worker, submissive, masochist, occasional switch, highfemme doll and mental health worker. She brings a lifelong lived experience of distress, trauma, grief and loss which informs her practice alongside eight years working in the mental health system. SESSIONS Psychological Safety for Submissives We know the fundamentals of physical first aid when someone is injured but what do we know about protecting our psychological safety? In Psychological Safety for Submissives we will use a trauma informed lens to explore how we can nurture and heal from psychological injury and expand our concept of boundaries beyond the physical. Together we will discover how can we indulge in the most deliciously intense scenes without being overwhelmed by the drop that follows, learn how to communicate sensory needs to play partners and explore how we can play in the dark and shadows without retraumatisation.

Psychological Safety for Submissives is an interactive, peer-led space for S-types to come together and discover our unique and individual needs for staying mentally safe in kink and BDSM.
