Never in a million years did I dream that this God-given creative passion would lead me to where I am today. Starting as a passion for designing my personal home, this journey has evolved into something far more profound a deep connection to the art of storytelling through design, a relentless pursuit of creating beautiful and functional spaces, and the birth of a bespoke furniture line that embodies the very essence of my aesthetic philosophy.
Over the past eight years, my journey through entrepreneurship has been a privilege marked by challenges and triumphs Each unique experience has shaped me into a better designer, leader, listener, and creator. Through the growth of Oyster Creek Studios, I had the opportunity to expand the 'OCS look' with the launch of Oyster Creek Collection a custom furniture line and online accessory shop catering to customers and clients nationwide. Through this collection, we aim to offer a livable, classic, and colorful lifestyle through custom bespoke pieces
Our focus has always been on crafting timeless pieces that are as durable as they are beautiful. I've consistently strived to push creative boundaries in bespoke furniture design. I believe in the power of mixing patterns and incorporating bold and classic prints in interior spaces to tell a cohesive story throughout the home I love to combine small-scale patterns with large-scale ones, as well as modern prints with traditional styles. Textiles should bring a sense of joy and happiness to the spaces they occupy, infusing warmth and comfort into the home.
This past year, I envisioned expanding our upholstery line to incorporate a broader range of textiles that push the boundaries of design. The vision for "The Designers Collection" was to introduce patterned prints that invigorate a space with colorful, rich hues, bringing them to life in the homes of our collection customers and clients.
Since the early days, Elliston House and Teil Duncan have been incredible partners who believed in the vision of Oyster Creek Collection. These women are brilliant textile visionaries who continually inspire us. They are genuine, and they create beautiful, memorable designs.

meet Teil Duncan
Born and raised in Columbus, GA, I developed a love for art as far back as I can remember. As a follower of Jesus I am so thankful to Him for providing a job I love! Inspired by light, movement, surprising color combinations, social interaction, and pattern, my goal is to infuse these elements in my work. As of March 2024, I have expanded into the world of patterns, offering fabric by the yard, wallpaper, and grasscloth wall coverings!
