The Alabama Premier
TUESDAY, MARCH 18, 2025 AT 7:00 PM
First performed in 2006, Hadestown has morphed into one of Broadway’s most acclaimed musicals. The experience takes the tragic Greek love story of Orpheus and Eurydice, where Orpheus travels to the Underworld to bring his beloved Eurydice back from the dead, reimagines it staged in an atmosphere reminiscent of New Orleans’ French Quarter during the Depression years, and backs it with a soundtrack of folk, jazz, blues, and gospel. The original Broadway production received eight Tony Awards in 2019, including Best Musical and Best Original Score. The original cast album won a 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. Performed by a vibrant ensemble of actors, singers, and dancers, Hadestown asks audiences to imagine how the world could be as they look at life through the eyes of two young people seeking love and hope where there appears to be neither.
FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 2025 AT 7:30 PM
When The Addams Family brings their creepy, kooky, upside-down world to OPAC, audiences will see this quirky family deals with many of the same challenges faced by any other family in this Broadway-hit musical. The Addamses have lived by their unique values for hundreds of years and Gomez and Morticia, the patriarch and matriarch of the clan, would be only too happy to continue living that way. Their dark, macabre, beloved daughter Wednesday, however, is now an eighteenyear-old young woman who is ready for a life of her own. She has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet, smart boy from a normal, respectable Ohio family — the most un-Addams sounding person one could be! And to make matters worse, she has invited the Beinekes to their home for dinner for one fateful, hilarious night! You ought to come and see ‘em, they’re really quite a scream – The Addams Family!

This fierce foursome is fronted by Emo Alaeddin, with an abundance of musicality and stage presence, not to mention a striking resemblance to Freddie Mercury. The Kings of Queen’s true, fourpart harmonies have been selling out venues nationwide and is considered one of the country’s toprated Queen tributes. The Grass Roots is an American rock band that charted frequently between 1966 and 1975 with hits like “Let’s Live For Today” and “Midnight Confessions.” The Buckinghams have stayed true to their Chicago roots as original founding members Carl Giammarese and Nick Fortuna continue to deliver a powerful replay of their hits, including “Kind Of A Drag” and “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy.” The Box Tops bring their Memphis-style Blue Eyed Soul with founding members Bill Cunningham and Gary Talley. Sweet Dreams MANDY BARNETT SINGS PATSY CLINE
PRESENTED BY DR. LINDA RAINWATER
Mandy Barnett catapulted to national prominence at the age of 18 when she was cast by Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium in the title role of their premiere jukebox musical Always...Patsy Cline. Rave reviews led to national acclaim and this production consistently selling-out performances over two years. Fast forward to Fall 2021, Mandy became an official member of the Grand Ole Opry. What distinguishes Mandy Barnett from other vocalists is that she is equally adept performing Classic Country songs as she is performing repertoire from the American Song Book, delving into a song with a keen interpretative sense, getting right down to its emotional core, rendering powerhouse performances. Barnett now brings what Country Music historian Robert K. Oerman calls “an instant classic” from the historic boards of the Ryman to the OPAC stage.

Air Supply
PRESENTED BY RMC HEALTH SYSTEM
The 1975 meeting of Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock began a friendship and one of pop music’s best-selling groups whose name came from a dream Graham had – a billboard surrounded by flashing lights and the words, Air Supply, in the center. Their first hit, “Love and Other Bruises,” opened the door to perform with Rod Stewart in 1977. They struck gold with the 1980 song of the year “Lost In Love,” then quickly topped the worldwide charts once again with “All Out Of Love,” beginning a run of seven, consecutive Top Five singles. Their first four albums sold more than 20 million copies. The trademark sound of Russell Hitchcock’s soaring tenor voice and Graham Russell’s simple, but majestic compositions created a unique sound which continues 49 years later and will bring Air Supply to the OPAC billboard for the second time since their first Oxford performance in 2019.
So Good: The Neil Diamond Experience

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How long do I have to renew my seats from last season?
A: Our current Series Subscribers have a renewal period beginning July 1 to renew series tickets for the next season. The renewal period ends on July 14 at 5:00 pm. After this date, all non-renewed seats are released for purchase by new Series Subscribers.
Q: Will I have the same seats as last season?
A: In almost all cases, Series Subscribers have first refusal to their previous series seating. After the renewal period has ended (July 14 at 5:00 pm), any nonrenewed seats are released for purchase by new subscribers. Example: A subscriber who purchases a series package for the Spring Season will have the option to renew those same seats for the Fall Season. If the subscriber, does not renew for the Fall Season, then those seats will not be available for renewal for subsequent seasons. As long as a subscriber purchases a package on a continual basis for current and future seasons, they may renew their seats during every renewal period.
Q: Can I upgrade my seats from last season?
A: While availability is limited, upgrade requests will be taken at the time of your renewal.
Q: When can I renew my subscription?

ALABAMA
CHILDREN’S MUSEUM & DISCOVERY CENTER
Our Project is picking up STEAM!
The planning and development of the Alabama Children’s Museum is moving forward with incredible momentum, marking a significant milestone in our community’s dedication to fostering creativity and learning among its youngest residents. The project has made tremendous progress, with museum design work underway and a range of interactive exhibits slated for design in the months ahead.
Community support has been overwhelming, with generous donations and enthusiastic volunteer involvement well before the location had been identified. The museum promises to be a hub of learning and discovery, providing a vibrant space where children can learn, explore, and play! As we advance, the excitement is palpable, and the vision of an extraordinary educational and cultural resource for Alabama’s children is rapidly becoming a reality. We invite everyone with children or grandchildren as part of their family (and extended family) to be a part of something truly magical by donating to help restore and install a grand Venetian carousel in the future Alabama Children’s Museum. We had the great fortune to purchase a hand-painted, Italian-made carousel in 2020 and move it to Oxford with help from the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama and BR Williams Trucking. Your generous contributions will fund the restoration and bring to life a major feature in the museum, offering joy and wonder to children and families for generations to come. The carousel, with its beautifully crafted horses and vibrant colors, will be a captivating centerpiece, sparking imagination and creating cherished memories.
We need donors to help revitalize its components such as horses, paintings, carriages, and bouquets. Your contribution will fund the restoration and installation, leaving a lasting legacy and providing joy and learning for years. We look forward to partnering with you to bring the magic of the Venetian carousel to the Alabama Children’s Museum. Together, we can create a legacy of delight and discovery for Alabama’s children. To learn more about sponsoring the restoration of a carousel horse and more, visit us at oxfordpac.org/carousel.
