We work with our clients to secure their long-term offsetting positions through structured investments in projects from development stage through to credit issuance.

Due to the merger of Natural Capital Partners with ClimateCare the marketing team is expanding to support the company’s rapid growth. We are currently ranked Best Project Developer in the Voluntary Carbon Market. In response to the escalating corporate demand for climate action, we are scaling our project development work across the world to deliver emissions reductions, conserve and restore biodiversity and support the global transformation to a low carbon economy.

We are highly selective in our choice of project partners – working only with those that are of highest quality and specialising in those that deliver positive impacts for people and nature, as well as robust carbon reductions. As a vertically integrated organisation – working from project development right through to corporate client delivery, we are perfectly placed to match project development with changing market requirements. To support this, we have created a new role for an experienced Head of Projects Marketing to join our global marketing team. This role can be located in London, Oxford, Nairobi, or US East Coast and will play a crucial role in delivering the strategic marketing plan for the company, by focusing on retaining and growing our global network of the highest quality project partners.

The successful candidate is likely to come from a project development, NGO or impact investor background, with experience of working with project developers throughout the world and knowledge of the channels and techniques that will help us increase our profile and build our network of partners to work with us to cut carbon and improve lives.

We are looking for a highly professional, hard-working individual, with exceptional organisation and planning skills and high quality written and verbal communications.

Raising awareness of our expertise and track record in this space, to build our pipeline of project development partners.

Creating content and identifying marketing channels to support and reach innovative, high quality project partners.

Working with our team to support our network of project partners and build long-term relationships.

Capturing internal expertise and using it to develop effective messaging and content and deliver this through appropriate marketing channels across all elements of the marketing mix.

Supporting PR work to ensure positive media coverage and raise awareness of our project development expertise and manage calls for projects and funding announcements.

Identifying appropriate speaking opportunities and event attendance to support our objectives.

Regular measurement and reports on progress.

Being an internal champion for this audience and ensuring internal teams are well informed about the importance of this work, and aware of our key messages.

Person Specification We are looking for an experienced marketing allrounder to lead this function. You should have direct experience of working either in: •

Marketing for a climate or sustainable development project sourcing/funding function - for example within a bank, investment fund, NGO or government body; and/or The Marketing function for a climate or sustainable development project, and knowledge of their requirements.

Planning and project management skills.

A collaborative approach to working across teams to achieve the best results.

Experience of managing multiple stakeholders.

An interest, enthusiasm and willingness to learn, adapt and deliver with a proactive approach.

Knowledge of the voluntary carbon market is an advantage but not essential.
