2025 STARTED OFF STRONG We had a jam packed Spring Semester, filled with growth, reminiscing and laughter. Enjoy reading about our spring activities and following along with our journey!

We are headed into summer with new vision and are determined to bring another championship home next fall! We hope to see you at a game!

SEMESTER RECAP Once we returned from winter break, we had a banquet at Merrick Hall, where we celebrated all we accomplished in the Fall. The team voted on special awards that were presented during the banquet. The winners were: Silly Goose Award and Fan Fave Awards- Avery Slucher Swag Master Award- Zoë Nelson (second year in a row) Ray of Sunshine Award- Maddie Federico Exemplary Teammate Award- Gabi Dahllof Hardest Worker Award- Alyssa Markell Most Improved Award- Emma Morgeson (G Morg) Defensive Award- Ellie Conroy O ensive Award- Grace Ammon Dependable Award- Brynn Schlesinger and Catherine Kent Goal of the Year- Gia Myers

Following dinner and the awards, each player was presented with their NCAC Championship Rings!!

Over the course of the semester, we were very busy! We got a er it in the classroom, ending our Spring Semester with a cumulative team GPA of 3.53, with 21 team members over a 3.5!

We then started our spring training in the weight room 3 times a week where the girls got more accustomed to Coach Glass! They have LOVED working with him and you can really see the results! They are looking forward to continuing his summer workouts and building on their progress!

We started on field training in March, practicing twice a week as a whole team, and utilizing two days a week for individuals! We even had the seniors come back for some last time fun!

Lastly, we ended the semester with another celebration, only this time it was hosted by our president, Matt VandenBerg! President VandenBerg hosted all the teams that were Regular season champions, conference champions and advanced into the NCAA tournament!

That included Field Hockey, women’s volleyball, women’s basketball and mens soccer! We toasted to our success and our support of one another! ft

DALE BRUCE AWARDS

This year at our annual Dale Bruce Awards, we honored 7 of our student athletes with various awards!

Six of our players were awarded for being new members of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society. This honor goes to Seniors and Juniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher! Congratulations too Ellie, Quinn, Olivia, Alyssa, Avery and Emma!

Three were named to OWU Athletics Top 50 Award which is determined by the 50 highest GPA’s! Gabi, Olivia and Catherine all had GPA’s over 3.8!

Lastly, Alyssa Markell was named to the Top 10 Athletes at OWU! This award recognizes athletic achievements, leadership, accomplishments in the classroom and a dedication to upholding the highest integrity as a studentathlete. Congratulations, Alyssa!

2025 Spring

COMMITTED WEEKEND

At the beginning of March, we hosted our Committed Player Weekend! All 6 of our incoming Freshmen, Violette, Zoë, Morgan, Abbey, Emma and Jane, came to campus as we welcomed them to our family!

The incoming Freshmen spent time with each other and the current team members. We did a Signing day Celebration and some team bonding! It was a great weekend and we cannot wait for the fall!!

WHY OWU

SPRING ACTIVITIES Through the spring, our team was involved in a lot of bonding experiences and we wanted to share them with you!

One bonding experience that was also a team goal, was to give back to the community. Our team spent some time making valentines day cards, which they later dropped o at the Sarah Moore Health Care Center!

The team also hosted a spike ball tournament. Ava and Reagan were the reigning champions and look to defend their title next year!

We also held a basketball game, movie nights and bishop buddies walks!

We made sure to find time to support other teams as well, here’s a photo supporting women’s basketball as the hosted the NCAA first round and some of us bearing the cold for women’s lacrosse!

There was even a camping trip that some of the team planned together!

From hiking and sight seeing to concerts and ice cream, we love spending time with each other!

GRADUATION On May 11th, we watched our seniors cross the stage for graduation, and complete their careers at Ohio Wesleyan. We are forever grateful to our 7 seniors, Ellie, Gabi, Olivia, Megan, Colleen, Zoë and Brynn for their dedication to leaving OWUFH in a better place than when they came in. Their impact on our program and our lives is immeasurable, and their legacies will live on forever. We’ve cherished these last 4 years and know that they will continue making the world a better place. Thank you, Seniors.

2025 FALL SCHEDULE

THANK YOU We wanted to say thank you again for all of your support and kindness!

Throughout the year, we have been trying to raise as much money as we possibly can to continue supporting our girls the best we can.

Since our budget covers a small sliver of what we normally need to spend, your support has been instrumental in helping our program progress. Thank you.

For the year, our team has raised $59,998.87!

We’ve done this through selling gear, selling ra le tickets and hosting camps and clinics.

Most of the money raised will go towards equipment, traveling, recruiting and supplementing our assistant salary. Anything le over will hopefully help our girls on another abroad trip!

In an ideal world, I would also be using these funds for a new turf. Right now we struggle with turf times and the field being too run down. Since we are the only sport that actually plays with the ball on the ground, the surface is everything.

One of my goals during my time at OWU will be to keep advocating for a women’s facility!

Wouldn’t that be unique?

For the Bishops for Bishops Campaign, we raise a tremendous amount, totaling $51,800! We had 71 donors, which increased by 30 from 2024! Because of this extraordinary support, we won an extra $1,000 due to the increased participation.
