As( an( integrative( institution,( the( temple( has( a( mission( to( conduct( religious( services( inside( a( traditional( place( of( Hindu( Worship( in( accordance(with(Vedic(and(Agamic(traditions(and(to(promote(educational( opportunities(for(children(related(to(Hindusim.

Maha(Ganapati(Temple(of(Arizona(is(operated(by(the(Board(of(Directors( and( Executive( Advisory( Councillors( of( the( temple.( The( officers( manage( various(subIcommittees(in(accordance(with(the(articles(of(incorporation.( All( officers( serve( the( organization( on( a( voluntary( basis.( Public( contributions(are(the(only(source(of(income(to(the(temple. &

Bhumi Puja/ Ground Sanctification Ceremony(August(2005 Through(divine(intervention,(the(temple(was( (gifted( (with(15(acres(of(land( (in(Maricopa(City(by(a( generous( family.( Owing( to( strong( community( support,( bhumi( puja( was( performed( by( Satguru( Bhodinatha( Veylansawmi,( a( religious( leader( and( the( head( of( Kauai's( Hindu( Monastery.( Satguru,( having( been( conferred( the( title( “Agamoddharaka( Acharya( Ratna�( meaning,( Supreme( Acharya( who(has(uplifted(and(preserved(the(Agamic(tradition,(initiated(the(temple(construction(project.( Subsequently,( temple( worked( with( Padmashri& Muthiah& Stapathi& to( position( shrines( of( various( deities(in(accordance(to(Vastu(shastra.

2014&–&2017&Project&cost&$508,200&Shilpis&8& Phase( V( will( add( the( JewelIofItheICrown,( the( 56( foot( tall( Raja( Gopuram(to(Maha(Ganapati(Temple(of(Arizona.(The(40(foot(tall(North( and( South( gopurams( and( the( 56( foot( tall( Rajagopurams,( when( completed,(will(serve(as(a(beacon(towards(serenity(and(spirituality.(In( addition,( the( temple( will( add( the( first( ever( Vishwaroopa( Bhaktha( Hanuman(shrine(of(Arizona(and(a(shrine(for(Rama(Parivar(during(this( phase( of( construction.( Phase( V( is( expected( to( culminate( in( a( grand( Murti(Pranaprathishtapana(and(Rajagopura(Kumbhabhisheka(Utsav(in( May(2017.
