T
he Community Management Team would like to wish all of our residents a Happy and Healthy New Year! 2020 was a hard year for everyone and we appreciate all of the patience, understanding and support from the community.
• Current open amenities include the Pools, Fitness Centers and Playgrounds in Victoria Commons, Victoria Trails and Victoria Oaks. Tennis and Pickleball Courts in Victoria Commons as well as the Volleyball Court in Victoria Oaks (must use your own ball).
Community Growth
• We recommend using gloves, masks, disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, etc. when using the amenities.
V. P. Homeowners Association (Commons, Hills and Trails) has 1,653 homes of the 1,808 total build out. Victoria Gardens Homeowners Association has 1,089 homes of the 1,129 total build out. Victoria Oaks Homeowners Association has 120 homes of an estimated 582 build out. All of the entities above, along with the Golf Course and Village Center, make up the Victoria Park Community Council (VPCC).
Homeowner Portal Through the homeowner portal on the website www.myvictoriapark. com, you can pay your assessments, submit architectural applications, submit work orders or questions for management. I would encourage all residents to familiarize themselves with the portal and feel free to reach out to our office if you have any questions.
Reminders • The Community Management Office is now open for in person transactions. However, for the safety of residents and our staff, we will be limiting the number of people in the office. Appointments are still encouraged. We would also encourage you to utilize the drop box if you are dropping off ARC Applications, New Residents Packets, etc. Email: VPCAM@Evergreen-LM.com or 386-738-2112.
• Social Distancing must be adhered to - no gatherings of large groups. Try to keep apart from others. • Resident IDs will be required and may be requested by Management and Security Staff. Please be ready to show ID when using the amenities. Residents needing to obtain an ID can email or call the community management office for instructions. • We have increased cleaning and sanitizing at all of the amenities, but please remember they are all open for use at your own risk. We ask all residents to follow CDC guidelines and practice social distancing when using these amenities. Wash your hands often. When using the fitness centers, please wipe down equipment before and after use.

inter is here! We want to welcome all new residents to Victoria Park! We also want to thank the residents that received the friendly reminders with understanding and support in maintaining the beauty of your homes and investments. The Community Standards Administrator is here to help ensure the community adheres to the covenant standards as set forth in the governing documents. If you receive a letter, the best thing you can do is to contact me so that we can assist in any way possible or offer timeline extensions if necessary. Our goal is to establish a professional relationship through communication, commitment and caring for our residents. As we continue to grow, there will inevitably be violations we miss. In the event there is an issue you would like to report, you may do so by filing a Confidential Incident/Violation Report, located on the website or by contacting me via phone or email.
Reminders/Home Maintenance We are focusing on the items listed below: • Street Tree Trimming – Street trees per the governing documents and the City of DeLand Code of Ordinances are the responsibility of the homeowners to maintain. (This does not apply to residents in Victoria Gardens.) Please ensure tree branches overhanging the sidewalks are trimmed to a minimum of 8’ and over the street surface to a minimum of 14’.

• Mailbox Upkeep – Mailboxes should be clean and numbers visible. Victoria Gardens is the Cambridge mailbox, Victoria Hills and Victoria Commons are Cambridge, Victoria Trails has the Hatteras mailbox. Contact Beautiful Mailboxes at 1-800856-6983 to order numbers. All the numbers shall be gold with adhesive, and no color on the background/sides. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Community Management Office. • Pets - All pets should be on a leash and kept under control. In addition, be mindful of your neighbor’s lawn by not allowing your pet on it and by cleaning up and removing solid waste after your pets. There are several dog stations which provide plastic bags and garbage cans for animal waste. All pet owners should be mindful of their neighbors and visitors so they can have quiet enjoyment. • Pressure Washing – Vinyl fences, sidewalks, walkways and driveways. Please remember when sidewalks are dirty, they get slippery. In Victoria Gardens, homeowners are only responsible for their driveways and driveway aprons. • Garbage and Recycling – In accordance with the City of DeLand Code of Ordinances, no garbage cans, garbage containers, recycling containers or containerized yard trash (to include

cans, boxes and bags) shall be placed at curbside for collection prior to 5pm on the night immediately preceding collection; all such cans, bags or containers shall be removed from curbside no later than 11pm on the day of collection. Also, containers and bins should be kept inside the garage or screened from view. Lattice panels can be used to screen containers. However, ARC approval is required prior to installing any screening including lattice and shrubs. In Victoria Gardens, garbage cans may only be kept inside the garage.

• Practice Fire Safety - Be aware of fire danger from space heaters, fireplaces and candles. Keep space heaters and flames at least three feet away from furniture, curtains or blankets. Shut off all portable heaters when you leave the house or go to bed. Always make sure a fire is put out before you leave the room. Happy New Year!
Please remember that cleaning up around your house does not require approval from the HOA. However, if you are considering making changes to the exterior, you must submit an application, for any of the work you plan to perform for ARC approval.
Safety Tips for the Winter • Keep your emergency contacts and other important numbers in a place you can easily locate, even in the dark. • Protect Plants - Temperatures below freezing (32 degrees) can easily kill plants that are not used to cold weather. Bring them indoors or cover them with tarps, sheets or blankets.

his community has had the incredible blessing of being able to give back more than ever this past Holiday Season. In the midst of fun weekly giveaways, your Lifestyle Team has partnered with several organizations. In November, we were the Eagle Sponsor for the Warrior Kids Foundation Charity Golf Tournament. In December, due to all of you and your generosity, with the help of resident, Jill Carol, we helped foster kids in DeLand with the Florida Guardian Ad Litem Program. You gave Thanksgiving meals prepared by Victoria Gardens to Fire and Police Stations, including Volusia County Police Department, and families in need. You filled shoeboxes for Operation

Christmas Child. You fed those in need with our Second Harvest Food Bank. You also made Christmas come alive to kids with pediatric cancer from our Angel Tree. You sparked a hope in so many lives over the Holiday Season. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
