It has been an incredible year here at Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch, filled with a variety of events that created wonderful occasions and lasting memories. We’re closing the year with festive holiday cheer, so be sure to check the calendar for both exciting off-site experiences and special events right here at The Venue.
To cap it all off, we’re thrilled to present our Signature Event and holiday celebration, It’s a Wonderful Lifestyle— an enchanting evening in the Saddlebrook Grand Ballroom that promises to bring in the holiday cheer. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and look forward to all the joy and new memories the coming year will bring!
As this year comes to a close, I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation to the Members of Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch. Your continued support, engagement, and commitment to relationship building have been instrumental in strengthening our community.
It has been a privilege to get to know so many of you over the past year. Each interaction—whether through
community meetings, events, or casual conversations— has provided valuable insight into what makes our community thrive. The collective spirit of collaboration and respect demonstrated by our Members has fostered an environment where meaningful connections can grow.

My name is Chris, and I’m excited to be a part of the Esplanade team. I began here as a Wellness Concierge and recently transitioned into the Lifestyle Concierge role, where I look forward to connecting with residents in new ways. I was born in Queens, New York, and moved to Wesley Chapel in 2020. I hold a bachelor's degree in business marketing and enjoy finding ways to bring creativity, organization, and energy into everything I do.
Outside of work, life has been just as exciting—I’m engaged, and my fiancée and I are expecting our first child, a baby girl, in March. Sports have always been a big part of my life; I played volleyball throughout high school and college, though basketball has always been my favorite. I’m thrilled to continue growing here at Esplanade and can’t wait to build even more connections with the community.

We’re Ed and Kimberlee Pierce, and this is our Airedale Terrier puppy, Bailee Sophia. She’s 8 months old and loves living here at Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch! We moved from Ohio a couple of months ago. Bailee did great on the two-day drive—even staying in a motel for the first time. Now she goes to the Bark Park almost every day with Ed and has made lots of new friends.
Bailee loves to run, play ball, and spend time with our grandkids nearby. She also loves to borrow your things and make you chase her—it’s her favorite game! We had another Airedale we loved very much until the end of his life. When the time felt right, we got Bailee from the same breeder. She’s a little clown who keeps us laughing and brings so much joy and energy to our lives every day.

Why did you choose Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch?
After exploring several 55+ communities, Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch truly captured our hearts. From the moment we met our wonderful sales representative Cheryl, we knew this was home.
We were drawn to the beautiful home design, top-notch builder, and the ideal location—just steps from The Venue and close to where we had previously evacuated during hurricane seasons from our Flood Zone "A" home in Tampa. Add to that the exceptional staff, world-class amenities, and vibrant Wesley Chapel area—it was an easy decision!
What lifestyle programming are you most interested in?
We’re passionate about staying active and involved! The
fitness center team—Dominic, Quinneka, and Luna— make wellness fun and motivating. We also enjoy the live music events and are big fans of the Wine/Sip Club.
Being very patriotic, we’re especially proud to be part of the Vetsplanaders community. Vic is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel who flew UH-60 Blackhawks as a maintenance test pilot, served two tours in Iraq, and most recently retired from MacDill AFB after 38 years of service to our nation.
Kelly comes from a proud military family as well, so there was instant chemistry with the strong sense of patriotism here.
What are your hobbies?
We love to travel—especially cruising—collect fine art, enjoy anything pet-related, and are always up for great music and dancing!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received or given? “Pray for and trust in God’s plan for your life. Everything happens for a reason—He can see around corners we cannot.”
Also, never take life for granted. Enjoy each day and live it to the fullest.

Vic and his twin brother, Vince, both attended West Point Military Academy.
Kelly has had an incredible career as a Call Center Director for multiple Fortune 500 companies, including international operations in India and the Philippines.
Fun fact: Kelly is also half Greek and once ran her own fourth-generation baklava business!
Where’s the most exciting place you’ve traveled? Honestly? Probably the next one! We were married in Sedona, Arizona—truly one of the most breathtaking places on Earth. We’ve also loved visiting Alaska, Southern Italy, the Greek Isles, Turkey, England, Ireland, and Iceland.

A full-body workout while seated in a chair. The class utilizes free weights, resistance bands, range of motion bars, and bodyweight exercises. All exercises are meant to increase overall strength, range of motion, flexibility, and core strength. Standing balance exercises may also be performed to accommodate all fitness levels.
STRETCH FLOW
Tuesdays | 6 p.m.
Enhance your mobility, balance, and relaxation with Stretch Flow, a class designed for active adults. This gentle yet effective session combines flowing stretches with mindful movements to improve flexibility, release tension, and promote overall well-being.
TOTAL BODY BOOST
Tuesdays | 5 p.m.
Stay strong, active, and energized with our Total Body Boost class, specially designed for active adults aged 55 and older. This full-body workout focuses on engaging every major muscle group through a combination of strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance exercises.
WATER WARRIORS
Mondays & Wednesdays | 10 a.m.
High energy, water fitness class that will focus on cardiovascular endurance and muscular endurance while toning muscles with the natural resistance of water. This workout will make you feel your body burn and tone without harsh force or impact on your joints.
YOGA
Fridays | 10 a.m.
Practice postures to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body in tandem with breathing exercises and meditation. Experience full-body relaxation and balance, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing and seated postures. Perfect to relax the body at the end of the day.
Seasonal Self-Care
As the cooler months set in, our skin often feels the effects of drier air and changing weather. Fall and winter are the perfect seasons to focus on self-care with rejuvenating facials and nourishing body treatments. These services help restore hydration, improve skin texture, and leave you with a radiant glow despite the chill in the air. Seasonal treatments such as exfoliating scrubs, hydrating masks, and restorative massages can protect against dryness, boost circulation, and renew tired skin. Taking time for seasonal self-care not only revitalizes your appearance but also provides a calming escape from the holiday hustle, helping you feel balanced, refreshed, and ready to embrace the season with confidence and ease.
The Spa at Esplanade is available for Members to enjoy and reserve spa treatments (massages) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Aesthetician & Skin Care Specialist: Weekdays from 4 to 8 p.m. I Saturdays 3 to 8 p.m.
Toys for Tots
This November and December, we will be collecting donations for Toys for Tots to support children and families in need within our community. Your generosity will help bring joy and brighten the holidays for those less fortunate. Our very own Vetsplanaders, the Veterans Club here at Wiregrass, will be proudly assisting with coordination throughout the season.
