Fall is on the Way!
If you’re reading this, it means my time as your Lifestyle Manager has come to an end and saying goodbye is not easy. Being part of this community from the very beginning has been something truly special. There’s a different kind of feeling that comes with watching something grow from the ground up … not just the homes and streets, but the relationships, traditions, and sense of belonging that make a neighborhood feel like home.
I’ve had the privilege of watching those first sparks of connection take root, and it’s an experience I’ll always carry with me. I never imagined I’d be saying goodbye so soon. I had no plans to leave, but a business opportunity came my way that I simply couldn’t turn down.
Making this decision was incredibly difficult, especially knowing I won’t be here to see the final results of the community develop and the relationships neighbors will build amongst each other. That said, I have full confidence that whoever the new Lifestyle Manager stepping in will be just as excited to take on this role as I was and I know

It’s been such a pleasure getting to know the Guinn Family this year. They’ve become familiar faces at many of our community events, always showing up with a smile and a great attitude. I truly appreciate their support and involvement. It’s neighbors like them who help make Esplanade at Westview feel like home.
Where are you from, and what brought you to Esplanade?
We’re originally from Tennessee and have been living in Florida for about a year now. We initially moved here with family, but they decided to return to Tennessee not long after we arrived. That shift led us to downsize and eventually find our new home here at Esplanade at Westview.
Do either of you have any hidden talents or hobbies that might surprise people?
We both love to sing karaoke and that’s all we’ll say about that!
Since you lived in the area before moving into Westview, are there any local spots you’d recommend?
Absolutely! We really enjoy the World Flea Market in Auburndale. There’s always something interesting to find. We’re also fans of Lola’s in Poinciana for some great Mexican food.
What’s your favorite quote or life motto?
“Enjoy life while you can. You never know what tomorrow will bring.”

Ivanhoe Village and Mills50 team up to host this long-standing event. Vendors are placed along Virginia Drive from Orange Avenue to Mills Avenue. Vendors consist of artists, retail, food and music. Guests can purchase $5 wristbands at Ten10 Brewing and near The Yard at Ivanhoe, which allow access to specials at select locations throughout the event. The $5 donation goes back to the Main Street programs working to amplify the business districts!

This 4-hour tournament will consist of a 1-hour, timed round-robin event for Men’s and Women’s doubles, and mixed doubles play. After the tournament, the top three doubles teams from each event, as well as the overall high-scoring Esplanade community, will be recognized at a special awards ceremony.
Both men and women are encouraged to come dressed in their best pink pickleball attire, as we participate in a shared effort to raise money and end breast cancer. Spectators are also encouraged to wear pink and cheer on their home teams!
