Summer Relaxation is Here!
Can you believe we’re already more than halfway through the year? Summer is in full swing, the kids are out of school, and our calendar is bursting with fun ways to enjoy the season together!
This July and August, we’ve packed the schedule with summer fun for all ages. We’ll be cooling off with Sundae Funday, getting creative during our Charm Bar Necklace Making Workshop, and settling in for Movie Night. Before we know it, we’ll be dancing our way through the Back to School Bash!
For the grown-ups, there’s plenty to look forward to, from a relaxing afternoon at Formosa Winery, to a bit of friendly competition at Trivia and Bingo. Plus, we’ll have a special trip to LunaSea Alpaca Farm that’s sure to be a hit with the whole family.
Of course, since we’re officially in hurricane season, we’re keeping a close eye on the weather. Some events may be
moved indoors or rescheduled if needed, but we promise to keep you informed every step of the way. No matter what the forecast says, we’re here to keep the good times going, both safely and comfortably.
As our community continues to grow, it’s more important than ever that you register for events on our community website. These registrations help us plan effectively. From making sure we have enough supplies and space, to ensuring everyone has a great experience. With so many wonderful neighbors joining in on the fun, your reservation helps us make each event smooth, safe, and truly enjoyable for all.

Why did you choose Esplanade and where are you from?
Originally from Virginia, the Johnsons recently relocated to Kissimmee, and chose Esplanade for its inclusive community and fantastic amenities. They said, “We were looking for a place where we could feel connected, and Esplanade offered exactly that.”
What is your favorite place to travel?
The Johnsons have a passion for travel, with each family member having their own favorite destinations. For Teresa, it’s the charm of North Carolina, while James loves exploring the vibrant culture and history of Japan.
Do you have any family traditions you love?
Family gatherings are at the heart of the Johnsons’ traditions. “We especially cherish our time together during the holidays,” they shared. Whether it’s sharing meals or enjoying each other’s company, these moments are what make their family bond so strong.
We’re thrilled to have the Johnson family as the first to call Esplanade home and can’t wait to see the many memories they’ll create here.

Cinco de Mayo CELEBRATION
Our Cinco de Mayo Celebration was full of festive spirit! We were thrilled to welcome new Members, Amie and Eddie Guinn, who joined us for an afternoon of great conversation, colorful decorations, and fun at the “make your own” margarita and taco bar. Sometimes, the best connections happen in smaller settings, and this was no exception. A big thank-you to Amie and Eddie for celebrating with us.
Mother’s Day Pancakes & PROSECCO
We celebrated Mother’s Day with a fun, hands-on pancake brunch that brought smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of syrup! Our buildyour-own pancake bar, featured all the sweet fixings, from fresh berries and whipped cream to chocolate chips and syrup. Everyone enjoyed flipping, topping, and tasting their creations in a laid-back atmosphere. To top it off, we served up Prosecco and mimosas for those who wanted a bubbly toast, along with a variety of fresh juices to keep things refreshing.

What an unforgettable day at the Grand Opening Event! We were thrilled to welcome so many guests to experience firsthand what makes Esplanade one of the most sought-after communities to be a part of. The celebration featured live entertainment, creating a lively backdrop for an afternoon filled with amazing food, plenty of fun, and flowing pours of our exclusive Esplanade private label wine. Mermaids of the Sea
National Wildlife Federation teams up with LG Electronics (LG) for an ongoing campaign to highlight vulnerable and endangered species, such as the West Indian Manatee (including its two subspecies the Florida and Antillean Manatees). Currently, the biggest threats to manatees are boat collisions and loss of their primary habitat—warm water coastal ecosystems that provide seagrass beds. Additionally, entanglement in fishing gear and toxic algal blooms are also impacting manatee populations.
