With her dedication, creativity, and passion for culinary excellence, Crystal contributes to bringing new flavors to the table and ensuring every dish is prepared to perfection. We are happy to have her on our team! Feel free to read along to get to know Crystal a little better.
TCrystal is a native to beautiful Southwest Florida. She has a lot of culinary experience through multiple outlets such as fine dining, hotels, private banquets, and country clubs. When Crystal is not cooking, she enjoys traveling or participating in outside activities. She has a deep love and appreciation for art and sports. One of her favorite quotes to live by is “What you are not changing, you are choosing.”

Meet Bogey, Doc, Meg & Stevie LOVED

Member Dawn Lance is an avid animal lover who has provided a loving home for four fur babies. Dawn considers herself a “foster fail” because all her pets were supposed to be foster animals, but she quickly realized they were meant to be hers. Bogey and Doc are strays that were rescued off the streets. They both love their outdoor time and indulging in freeze dried liver treats. Meg and Stevie are siblings who Dawn initially brought home for a weekend after volunteering at a local shelter; their weekend sleepover quickly turned into a forever sleepover.
Both Meg and Stevie were born blind, but they get around just fine and are as happy as can be. They occasionally run into things, so Dawn avoids rearranging furniture as much as possible. Dawn has opened her home to these sweet babies, and in doing so, they’ve not only found a loving owner, but have also brought immeasurable joy and fulfillment into Dawn’s life, creating bonds that will last a lifetime. Please read along to get to know Bogey, Doc, Meg, and Stevie.
Bogey is a sweet and smart 15-year-old mixed breed dog with a heart of gold! Bogey’s favorite pastime is cruising around our community in the car, with his head out the window, taking in all the sights and smells. He’s a shy boy who keeps to himself, rarely getting into mischief. Bogey’s journey to his forever home started when he was just three years old. He was rescued along with his littermates off the streets of East St. Louis.
Doc is a lovable seven-year-old mixed breed dog who’s always up for an adventure! Doc’s favorite thing to do is go on walks, where he’s all about exploring the world around him. While he’s an absolute sweetheart, he does have a few mischievous habits — like trying to jump into the front seat of the car during rides and sneaking cat treats when no one’s looking. Doc is a true companion, always following Dawn around like a shadow. He is known for being a blanket thief at bedtime. Doc is deaf from the removal of his ear canal due to chronic ear disease. Despite his hearing loss, Doc is living his best life and has fun with Dawn and his four-legged roommates.
Meg is a beautiful 14-year-old long-haired tabby! Meg’s favorite pastime is lounging on the lanai, soaking up the sun in true feline fashion. She’s the kind of cat who brings warmth not just from the sun, but from her affectionate nature as well. Known for her gentle spirit, Meg is an absolute sweetheart who never gets into trouble — there’s simply no need for reprimands with this well-behaved girl!
Cuddling is one of Meg’s greatest joys, and she’ll happily curl up next to anyone who’s ready for some quality snuggle time.
Stevie is a 14-year-old black short-haired cat who knows exactly how to get under his sister’s fur! Stevie’s favorite hobby is teasing and aggravating Meg, which, of course, often leads to him getting reprimanded. While he may not have many redeeming qualities in the traditional sense, he certainly has a way of winning Dawn’s heart with his mischievous antics. Despite his knack for causing a little chaos, Stevie is deeply loved by Dawn, who knows that even the most challenging of personalities can bring special joy to life. Stevie may not be the easiest cat to live with, but his charm and unique personality make him an irreplaceable part of the family.

It’s a Wonderful Lifestyle SIGNATURE EVENT
Our annual holiday party was a festive success, with neighbors gathering for an evening filled with laughter and cheer. The Resort Amenity Campus was transformed into a Winter Wonderland with twinkling lights and a touch of fake snow.
Spa La La HOLIDAY EVENT
Members enjoyed an evening of wellness, relaxation, and retail therapy with champagne, sweet treats and light bites. Attendees mixed and mingled with our spa professionals learning about the treatments, healing therapies, and new spa retail partners at The Spa.
Paint & Sip EVENT
The event was a delightful afternoon filled with creativity, relaxation, and fun featuring a painting class led by a talented, local artist who guided our Members through each brushstroke. Participants enjoyed the atmosphere and their favorite beverages as creativity flowed.

Tennis and pickleball enthusiasts enjoyed a series of festive and friendly matches with our Sports Professional. Following both events, the attendees headed over to the Veranda to enjoy holiday inspired sweet treats and a hot cocoa bar.

The Cooking and Cocktails Series is back in 2025, and we are kicking things off with A Night in Bologna! Attendees will learn to craft a classic Bolognese sauce and homemade ricotta cheese designed to elevate your culinary skills.
We’ll finish the class with a refreshing homemade lemon gelato, the perfect palate cleanser. As part of the demonstration, you will also have the opportunity to taste a variety of Italian wines that pair well with the classic Bolognese sauce.
During this one and a half hour demonstration, you will enjoy samples of the featured items and volunteers may be requested. All attendees are encouraged to bring their own beverages to enjoy.
