we step into the final three months of 2026, there is something special about this time of year. October brings the excitement of fall and Halloween, November reminds us to slow down and appreciate the people and moments we are thankful for, and December fills our community with the warmth and magic of the holiday season. But more than anything, these final months give us an opportunity to come together.
Whether you’ve lived in Bellalago for many years or just received your keys, whether we see you at almost every event or haven’t met you yet—there is a place for you here.
At Bellalago and Isles of Bellalago, our community is more than the beautiful homes, lakes, amenities, and palm trees surrounding us. Our residents are what make Bellalago home. Every person who attends an event, tries a fitness class for the first time, joins a club, meets a new neighbor, or simply stops by to see what is happening adds something special to our community.
So as the leaves change, the holidays arrive, and we prepare to close the chapter on 2026, we hope you’ll spend some of these moments with us. Here’s to three more months of laughter, movement, friendship, family, new experiences, and memories right here at home.

we move into the final quarter of 2026, the Maintenance and Housekeeping Department is pleased to share an update on the many projects, repairs, improvements, and beautification efforts completed throughout Bellalago during the past several months. Our team remains committed to maintaining the beauty, cleanliness, safety, functionality, and long-term value of our community amenities while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the resident experience.
Additional improvements have included ongoing support of landscaping operations, maintenance of recreational amenities, fountain repairs, HVAC system servicing, safety-related enhancements, infrastructure upgrades, and daily housekeeping efforts that help keep our amenity centers clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for residents and guests. By proactively addressing maintenance needs and maintaining high cleanliness standards, we continue to improve the overall reliability, appearance, and enjoyment of our facilities.
Throughout the year, our staff has focused on preventive maintenance programs, facility improvements, equipment repairs, housekeeping initiatives, and capital planning projects designed to preserve community assets and provide residents with exceptional amenities. Significant efforts have been dedicated to maintaining the Clubhouse, Fitness Center, pools and spas, playgrounds, sports courts, parks, fountains, common areas, lighting systems, HVAC equipment, and other essential infrastructure throughout the club facilities.
PLAYGROUND REVITALIZATION PROJECT One of our most anticipated upcoming initiatives is the comprehensive renovation of the Bellalago playgrounds. The proposed improvements are designed to modernize the play areas, introduce updated equipment, enhance safety features, and create engaging recreational spaces for children of all ages. Our team is collaborating with management and currently evaluating options and working through the planning process to ensure the project delivers long-term value and enjoyment for our residents.
Recent accomplishments have included extensive pool and spa equipment maintenance, repairs to clubhouse systems, gym improvements, painting and beautification projects, lighting upgrades, routine deep cleaning of amenity facilities, and preventative maintenance activities aimed at extending the life of club assets. The Maintenance and Housekeeping Department takes pride in responding promptly to concerns, completing work orders efficiently, maintaining exceptional facility cleanliness, and working closely with management, residents, and contractors to ensure that Bellalago remains a place that residents are proud to call home.
FITNESS CENTER EQUIPMENT UPGRADES The Maintenance Department is also collaborating with management to evaluate the replacement and enhancement of fitness equipment within the Bellalago Fitness Center. These planned upgrades will provide residents with modern, reliable, and user-friendly equipment that supports a wide variety of fitness goals and promotes a healthier lifestyle for our community.
We look forward to continuing these improvements, completing exciting new projects, and sharing additional updates as we work together to preserve and enhance the community we all call home.
FOUNTAIN MOSAIC RESTORATION Another exciting project under consideration is the restoration and installation of decorative mosaic features at both Bellalago pool deck fountains. These fountains serve as beautiful focal points within our amenity areas, and the proposed enhancements are intended to

This year, the outbreak begins as Howl-A-Lago transforms into a Zombie Apocalypse, bringing residents an evening packed with spooky thrills, family fun, and Halloween excitement. Residents can look forward to the Tent of Horror, rides, games, food trucks, music, a soft play area for our little ones, a petting zoo, costume contest, and much more! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, all attendees must present a valid physical Bellalago ID for entry. Driver’s licenses will not be accepted. Residents who do not currently have a Bellalago ID should visit the Amenity Center prior to the event to obtain one. Residents ages 16–17 may obtain a Bellalago Minor ID; however, they are not permitted to bring guests. All minors must remain accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the event, and each household is limited to a maximum of four (4) guests. These guidelines will be strictly enforced. utdoor lighting at night disrupts natural day-night rhythms, causing disorientation, altered breeding, and increased death in wildlife species. We humans are likewise more prone to cancer with nightly light.
Unnatural lights cause “walls” across waterways, disrupting fish migration and spawning. To minimize harm to wildlife, outdoor lights should be on only as needed. Downward-facing fixtures and warm-toned amber or yellow incandescent bulbs should be used instead of bright bluewhite LEDs, which are most disruptive to neural health in animals and humans, alike. Exterior decorative, flood, and spot lighting should be switched off from 11:00pm to 6:00am, especially during migration seasons.
Birds use stars for navigation, but outdoor lighting and sky glow at night can draw them off their nightly migration courses, trapping them in circles around illuminated areas, disrupting their sleep and exhausting their energy, leading to collisions with buildings. Constant illumination increases stress hormones, cutting into needed rest for both adult birds and nestlings.
To keep interior light from spilling outside, window blinds should be closed at night. While we need streetlights for safety, we can and should control our house lighting and keep wildlife healthy. One more benefit: by shutting off lights at night, our electricity bills are reduced!
Outdoor lighting attracts insects, often fatally. It interferes with their mating, reducing numbers. Moths and other flying insects swarm near outdoor lamps to exhaustion, making them easy targets for predators. Artificial glare stops fireflies and glowworms from flashing and seeing mating signals. Nocturnal pollinators engage in less nighttime pollination. Marine life and amphibians are reduced in number when exposed over time to nightly light. Sea turtles can become stranded when unable to find adequate dark habitat. Hatchlings find their way to water sources by following the bright horizon; but outdoor lighting, confusing them, can result in vast mortality. Frogs and toads rely on darkness for their nighttime breeding calls; light pollution suppresses these calls and lowers reproduction. B EL L A L AG O B E AC ON
