The 2025 year started with many challenges for us here in the Maintenance Department as we looked forward to so many new projects to enhance our Club. A few weeks ago, the pavers on the Bellalago pool deck were leveled and all the dining tables were replaced with new aluminum round dining tables completing the resort-style look we strive to achieve.
In a few weeks, our boat lift will get a completely fresh coat of paint to complement the new wood flooring on all boat docks and ramp. We are working with different vendors on getting bids for the resurfacing of the tennis and basketball courts.
The new blue windscreens being installed on the tennis courts will change the look to a more modern-active ambiance, reflecting the vibe that we desire residents to feel as they come and enjoy these facilities.
There is so much done and so much more to be done, but we can do this! Challenge has been accepted. CAUTION… here we come!

Summer has arrived, and with it comes longer days, vibrant greenery, and more opportunities to enjoy all that our community has to offer. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, strolling our beautiful pathways, or attending one of our fantastic events, I hope you’re finding time to connect, recharge, and make the most of the warm weather.
We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes to enhance your experience. Recent improvements include new umbrella tables at the pools, new windscreens at the tennis courts, new dumbbells in the fitness centers, and a new dock at the boat ramp - all designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to host more fun upcoming summer
events—stay tuned for dates and details. These gatherings are a great way to meet neighbors and celebrate the season together.

This exciting event is the perfect way to keep the Independence Day energy going while cooling off with neighbors, family, and friends. The day kicks off with a Family Foam Party from 11am-2pm, where kids and parents alike can enjoy playing with foam, music by a live DJ, and delicious offerings from food trucks. For those looking for an evening of adult-only fun, the Adults-Only Foam Party runs from 6pm-9pm—a great opportunity to dance, mingle, and enjoy a summer night with Glow Foam! CARROM CLUB
The Bellalago Carom Club hosts weekly meetups where residents enjoy casual games, light snacks, and time to relax, chat, and connect with others. Carom—also known as Indian finger billiards—is played on a smooth square board using a striker to pocket lighter discs into corner pockets. It’s easy to learn and a fun mix of skill and strategy. In January, the club held a special Winterlicious party, bringing everyone together for an afternoon of games, food, and laughter. While most games are lighthearted, you’ll always spot a few members who take their shots very seriously, which adds to the fun and friendly banter around the board. Whether catching up with familiar faces or meeting new people in the community, the club offers a welcoming atmosphere and a great way to spend time together.

If you like to read and live in BIOB come join us, the 2nd Monday of each month, at the Bellalago Recreation Center (1200 Lago Vista Court), from 7pm-8pm. We are a friendly group of women who like to read and discuss books from different genres. It’s always fun to get together. Hope to see you!
MAHJONG & CARDS CLUB
Second & fourth Sunday of every month from 6pm-8:30pm at Bellalago Recreation Center. Playing Mahjong & Cards in the club are not just fun games - it offers a wide range of mental, social, emotional, and even therapeutic benefits. Mahjong is traditionally a social game of 4 people but it also boosts problem-solving, strategic thinking, pattern recognition, probability estimation, and decision-making under pressure.
DOMINOES CLUB
The Dominoes Club of Solivita held a tournament on May 24, 2025 against the Bellalago Dominoes Club. A total of 32 players participated in a friendly competition against each other. The winners were: 1st Place - Dio Lovera and Jose Matos, 2nd Place - Barry Sibblis and Derick Hall, 3rd Place - Jorge Cancel and Thomas Tola, 4th Place - Lucy Pagán and William Silfa, 5th Place - Daniel Oyarzabal and Jose Vivas. Congratulations to all the winners, and a special thank you to William Silfa, Lucy Pagán, Glorymar Gonzalez, and Vitalina De Leon, who helped to make it a great success!
PING PONG CLUB
We meet every Monday from 2pm-4pm at Bellalago Amenity Center
Multipurpose Room. Playing Ping Pong offers a good number of physical, mental, and social benefits: boosts brain function; improves reflexes and reaction time; reduces stress; improves handeye coordination; burns calories and improves cardio; easy to play casually or competitively with friends and family; benefits for all ages.

We meet every Thursday at 6pm at Bellalago Aerobics Room and the last Thursday in every month at 6pm at Bellalago Recreation Center. Join the Oriental Music Club for Oriental Line Dancing, where you learn interesting dance steps and body movements with energetic oriental music for the benefits of increased balance and coordination and reduce stress and anxiety. On the last Thursday of the month, join the Oriental Music Club for Karaoke Evening, where you sing along to a wide variety of oriental songs. Occasionally a club meeting is organized for the club members to share music and homemade foods
SPANISH CONVERSATION CLUB
The Spanish Conversation Club provides a valuable opportunity to exchange language knowledge between English and Spanish speakers in a dynamic, conversational setting. By fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, participants can enhance their language skills, cultural understanding, and confidence through real-time interactions. This club promotes bilingual communication, supports personal and professional growth, and builds meaningful connections among members, benefiting both native and non-native speakers. Classes begin every Wednesday at 10am, and everyone is welcome to join!
