I was sitting in the office of a noisy garage having the MOT done on my car when you called) In world where people are so happy to criticize, your call to tell me how much you enjoyed the OVD and how beneficial it has been to you, lifted my spirits in ways you cannot imagine. If everyone took the time (and it was only a few minutes) to give the gift of positivity or thankfulness, how much better the world would be. Even now, nearly two months later, I recall our conversation and it makes my heart swell. I hope the OVD continues, in 2022, to make your life better too! Congratulation to Lynne Barton who won the fabulous Reindeer Cake and it was very good so I hear! Congratulation to Judith Rogers too, who won the crossword prize. Your cheque is on it’s way. Now I am asking once again for help. I understand holding events over the past 18 months has been a very difficult undertaking and some of you will notice there is no What’s On page again. Please let me know about your events planned for April and May and I will put them in the magazine for free. Hopefully Covid will have abated by then and you will want to get out and about. Chicken Tikka Masala a Slimming World recipe I have enjoyed on numerous occasions! A very healthy version of the nation’s favourite and totally syn free on the Extra Easy Slimming World plan.
In a large dish, mix together the lime juice, Ingredients yogurt and 3 tabs of the tikka curry powder. Season well. Add the chicken Juice of 1 lime and toss well. Marinade in the fridge for 4 150g fat free natural yogurt hours or overnight if time permits. 5 tbsp tikka curry powder When you’re ready to cook, preheat the salt & freshly ground pepper grill to medium. 4 skinless, boneless chicken Spray a large non-stick frying pan with low breasts cut into bite size calorie cooking spray and place over a pieces medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, low calorie cooking spray ginger, chilli, cinnamon, cumin and 1 onion grated remaining tikka curry powder and fry for 2-3 4 garlic cloves crushed minutes. Stir in the tomato puree & 250mls 2cm piece of root ginger, water. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat to peeled and grated low and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring 1 red chilli, deseeded and often. chopped Meanwhile thread the chicken pieces onto 1 tsp ground cinnamon metal skewers, spray with a little low calorie 1 tsp ground cummin cooking spray and grill for 12-15 minutes, 6 tbsp tomato puree turning occasionally. Remove the chicken 5 tbsp fat free natural from the skewers and stir into the sauce. Take the sauce off the heat, stir in the fromage frais fromage frais and scatter with coriander. small handful of roughly chopped fresh coriander Serve hot with a rice of your choice. to garnish
