I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Mine was made so much better with two of my readers phoning me to let me know how much they enjoyed the magazine. In today’s society where we focus more on what is not right than what is, a compliment is a rare but beautiful thing so thank you for those messages, they made my Christmas. While our name and branding are changing, everything that truly matters remains exactly the same. Our ethos, our caring and friendly environment, our dedicated staff team, and our Goodrating all continue unchanged. Our experienced management team and Board of Trustees also remain firmly in place, ensuring continuity, stability and high standards of care.
Westfield House continues to operate as a registered charity, a status we have proudly held since 25th March 1963. Moving away from the Abbeyfield brand allows us greater autonomy as a stand-alone charity, giving us the freedom to invest directly into what matters most - our residents, our staff and our home.
We are incredibly excited about the future of Westfield House and the opportunities this change brings to enhance our environment, activities and services.
