outboundgallery summer 2013 call for submissions Mountain Outlaw magazine’s Outbound Gallery features captivating images from the Greater Yellowstone region. The 8-10-page gallery is not just eye candy; it’s our way of giving credit to the amazing photographers who work and play in our area. Subject matter can include almost anything from the region: landscapes, portraits, action sports, music, events, etc. We generally select images that pertain to the season (no powder skiing shots in the summer). Familiarize yourself with images we have printed in the past by viewing previous issues, available online at explorebigsky.com/publications. Selected images will feature the photographer’s name, a short caption and a web link or contact information for the photographer. Gallery photos are not paid.
To submit:
Log on to the Outlaw Partners ftp site: ftp.theoutlawpartners.com U: outlawfiles P: 0utlaw12 [O is a zero] Create a folder within the Outbound Gallery folder, titled with your surname, underscore then first name ie. Doe_John Place your best 3-5 images in your folder (Please no more than 5) Image titles should start with the photographer’s surname, underscore, first name, then an underscore followed by number reference. ie: doe_ john_001.jpg Please include caption information and photographer contact information in the metadata of each image. Images should be Adobe DNG files or high resolution JPGs (Largest possible size @ 300 dpi), generally will print no bigger than 17” wide (double page spread). After you have uploaded your images, please email kelsey@theoutlawpartners.com to confirm receipt.
