Grand Final Preview Firstly, I would like to congratulate all players and officials on reaching today's Grand Finals. Good luck to everyone involved. I hope you all have an enjoyable, successful, and memorable day. Our great game would not be possible without our junior umpires, so I would like to wish all of our umpires a fantastic day and thank them for their dedication throughout the season. To our Umpire Coaches, Georgia and Taylah, thank you for your commitment to our junior umpire group. Your patience, support, and effort throughout the season have been outstanding and greatly appreciated. To all of our clubs and club executives, thank you for providing young people with an enjoyable and supportive environment to play the sport they love. While we have faced challenges throughout the season, by continuing to work together we can ensure that football remains a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all participants. I would also like to thank the entire OEFN team and Board for their support throughout the year. Like our clubs, an enormous amount of time and effort goes into preparing and delivering a successful junior competition, and your contribution is greatly valued. During the season, I had the opportunity to visit all of our clubs and was extremely proud to see how each club conducts its match days and embraces its local community. The passion, dedication, and volunteer spirit displayed across our competition is something we should all be proud of. Season 2026 has been another successful year for the OEFN Junior Competition. We introduced the Under 8 Mixed Competition, and it has been fantastic to see so many new participants enjoying their football and developing a love for the game. We also reintroduced the Under 10 Girls Competition, and we are incredibly proud to continue strengthening our girls' football pathway. From Auskick through to our senior women's teams, we now provide more opportunities than ever for girls to develop a lifelong love of football. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to another successful season.
