SAFETY Recently Southeastern was named the #1 Safest Campus in Louisiana.

It was the only university in Louisiana to make the Safe Campus list.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN 5 YEARS

HLETICS Southeastern offers 15 Division I sports (Baseball, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Cross Country, Women’s Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Men’s Indoor Track and Field, Men’s Outdoor Track and Field, Women’s Indoor Track and Field, Women’s Outdoor Track and Field, Volleyball) and competes in the Southland Conference. The Lions boast such notable recent alumni as Robert Alford, who plays for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, and Wade Miley, the 2012 Sporting News National League Rookie of the Year and current member of the Milwaukee Brewers, among others. You can always find a game on campus to watch and cheer on the Lions! lionsports.net

ADMISSIONS STANDARDS (In State Freshmen) Completion of Board of Regents High School Core Curriculum (4 units of English, Math, Science, Social Studies; 2 units of Foreign Language and 1 unit of Art) AND Must have ACT Math score of 19 or higher OR ACT English score of 18 or higher AND Cumulative GPA 2.35 or above on a 4.0 scale AND Either ACT composite score of at least 21 OR a core GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

 Submit the Application for Admission online at southeastern.edu/apply.  Register for the ACT and have your scores sent to Southeastern (school code is 1608).  Proof of Immunization — Submit your immunization records to Southeastern’s Office of Admissions.  Transcripts — If you have taken college coursework at another university, have your transcripts sent directly to Southeastern’s Office of Admissions.  Scholarships — The Southeastern Admissions Application serves as the application for scholarships.  Financial Aid — Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. (school code is 002024).  Housing — Complete the online University Housing Application at southeastern.edu/housing.  Final High School Transcript — If you are a current Louisiana high school student, your transcripts should be automatically available to Southeastern. However, please check your LEONET account to ensure that we do have them.
