Cribbs Cattle || The Direction Fall Calf Sale (2025)
OCTOBER 12, 2025 || WHITE, SD
HOSTED BY SC ONLINE SALES
Welcome to this year’s installment of The Direction!
We can’t thank those enough for their past support and belief in what we are trying to accomplish and where we’ve been heading over the last few years.
The cattle within these pages have been a labor of time and effort to get to this point and it’s with great anticipation we share them with you!
As I reflect over the past few years, it’s been a goal to not only create cattle that we trust and believe in but foster relationships and customer success that sees the fruits of our effort. The past two sets of cattle have found numerous backdrop and success stories but of more value, have created a platform for us to show you The Direction we prefer to take cattle.
We are on a constant trajectory around here to push toward cattle that balance power and structure to a degree that propels them toward generating potential. We care about their feet, their skull and the fact that behind them are lines of females that have been successful in their respected eras.
As our family grows and we continue to root our footing in the cattle industry, we hope you know that our focus is on the product and its impact for their future owners.
As always, please feel free to reach out about the offering with any questions and swing through anytime to view the largest and deepest set of cattle to date.
It’s our hope you find value in The Direction!
JoshRegards,

BREED 1/2 SIMM // DOB FEBRUARY // HEIFER
The first sale we had, the lead off heifer was a full sib to this one. The Weems family successfully campaigned that female to Reserve ORD in Austin, Champion Female at the Simmental Superbowl Show in San Antonio, and Champion Percentage Female at Texas Field Day. It goes without saying what Heritage and 546 mean to us around here, both are sprinkled throughout this year’s offering and our cowherd. This female reminds us of all the good things in both sides of her pedigree, and it just made sense to start right here!
Champion Percentage Female at TJSSA State Futurity

Lot2
Trust Fund
954G (Relentless x Tammy)
BREED % SIMM/LOW CHI // DOB FEBRUARY // HEIFER
This direct daughter to the Relentless/Tammy that commanded $100,000 plus in RJ’s Fall sale a few years back to Sullivan, will write her own story! A direct daughter of Trust Fund, this mating makes her a Percentage Simmental and a Low Chi qualifying her for two junior nationals and positioning her to be competitive in both! She’s wild necked, awesome built, and punchy pinned!
Lot3
Rebel Yell Ranch Hand
BREED % SIMM/LOW CHI // DOB APRIL // HEIFER
A few years back, this one’s mother had a Heritage daughter make the sale and she’s back this year with a Rebel Yell. I found Rebel Yell at Reimann’s two Springs ago and had to have him. I partnered with Barry and this got us to this! Lot 3’s power to structure ratio is incredible. She’s built bold in her rib cage and organized in her look. She also goes Percentage Simmental and Low Chi!
Lot4 King of Diamonds 546 (Conversation)
BREED % SIMM // DOB APRIL // HEIFER
I got a chance to see King of Diamonds as a mature bull running on cows at Jones’s a few summers back. The bull didn’t get near enough cows! I knew that he would fit 546, and it’s apparent when it comes to this female. She has all the presence and punch you would want. Feet and legs are stout and hair is quality!
Bankroll x 546 Sold on The Direction (2023) for $25,000.
Bankroll x 546 Sold on The Direction (2023) for $12,000. Heritage x 546 Sold on The Direction (2022) for $36,000.
Lot5
Broker Hairietta Clone H4W
BREED % SIMM/LOW CHI // DOB MARCH // HEIFER
Lady Killer has made a notable impact in recent years and she’s worked to everything RJ tries! Here is a chance to own a full sib to her out of the H4W Clone! Her neck length, bone density, and flexibility is a unique combination. She came off the cow a little behind but she keeps coming! Retaining 1/2 interest.
Lot6
Outsider E32 (Fargo x 5100)
BREED PB CHAR // DOB APRIL // HEIFER
This Outsider female is a direct daughter to E32 and a full sib to the one Effling sold a few years back that commanded $80,000 plus! She’s elite built and bodied, and her pin set is big. Little younger but going to be ready to battle when she’s on the end of a rope!
WEBR Spartan J21 1253 (Hamley x Dallas)
BREED PB RED ANGUS // DOB FEBRUARY // HEIFER
I got this heifer late! I mean literally weaned 10 days before pictures. She’s not bloomy yet but hold on! Her back leg stability and density are what Red Angus need to be like. Her natural presence and body proportions are awesome and all that combined are going to allow her to be competitive and generate down the road.
UDE New Heights 546 (Conversation)
BREED PB ANGUS // DOB APRIL // HEIFER
The Angus division starts with a direct daughter of 546 and out of New Heights! I bought a semen package on that bull in Denver when they sold him on EOS. I will tell you, I make a point to only use bulls I have seen with my own eyes that way I know if I have a cow that will work to them. I bought that package to make this exact heifer and to use him on 546. She’s elite built, bodied, and backed by a proven cow!
Lot
9 Casino 546 (Conversation)
BREED PB ANGUS // DOB FEBRUARY // HEIFER
This Casino is what 546 looked like at her age. Some people like to talk about cattle that look like a generator with no understanding of the previous generation prior or what they look like. In this instance, this heifer has the same bone, pin width, body and skull as her mother that is in fact become a proven generator!
24 Karat Annie Lou
BREED PB ANGUS // DOB JANUARY // HEIFER
This 24K x Annie Lou should need no introduction pedigree wise. They have been competitive and proven! Lot 10 is awesome looking, soft haired, and has an organized build! I like this one a great deal and I think if you’re looking for one to aim as a two year old, she’s positioned perfectly and will be plenty of fun along the way!
Lot11
BREED PB HEREFORD // DOB FEBRUARY // HEIFER
Pixie is proven, no doubt about it, and American Classic has made his impact. The two of them together collided to make a Hereford female that the toughest critics of power and density will love. I know this because I’m the guy that needs them to be heavy duty in their feet, bone, and punch! This female gets better every day of her life. Managed correctly, she is going to be a force as a big one!

BNWZ Diplomat Aces High/Jewel
BREED BALANCER // DOB MARCH // HEIFER
Our herdsman comes from a family that runs a stout and productive set of Gelbvieh and Balancer cattle. Last Spring, he wanted some Diplomat semen to breed to make some Balancers. This female is the result of that project, and it worked awesome. Their Junior National is in Nebraska this Summer and this one will be very competitive!

Lot15
Coping with Destiny 15 (Heritage x Currency)
BREED PB SIMM // DOB APRIL // HEIFER
This heifer was the thought when we labeled this sale The Direction! This CWD is the result of the first flush on a past high seller from here that is a cornerstone donor for Post and Larson. Her mother was a Heritage daughter and the first natural calf of the cow we affectionately call Penny! She’s awesome looking and built for a purebred, and in a younger division!
Lot
16 Coping with Destiny 138J (Bankroll x Wheelman)
BREED PB SIMM // DOB MARCH // HEIFER
This Coping with Destiny is the other one we had out of 138 this year, and we like her a great deal! She is built in the image of her mother in terms of her look and skeleton. She, too, was a little behind coming in but is catching up fast!
Lot17
Quantum Leap 8543 (Clone)
BREED PB SIMM // DOB APRIL // HEIFER
To my knowledge, this has never been done and 8543 needs no introduction into the Simmental breed! A direct daughter of Quantum Leap, she is incredible footed, and built big in her pin set and beautiful headed! We are retaining half embryo interest because we think she’s the next installment! Retaining 1/2 interest.
Lot
The start of the steers I think says state fair sized and hammer down! This HGTA has color to stand out and a combination of power to structure that will be hard to rival! I absolutely love this calf to show as a Chi/Cross and I think he has all the needs to fill in the wants!
How Great Thou Art 25F (Gunsmoke x Monopoly)
BREED LOW CHI // DOB STEER // JANUARY
Lot19
BNWZ Diplomat Dignity/Phyllis
BREED PB ANGUS // DOB STEER // FERUARY
Two years ago, I snagged a Dignity/Phyllis from Troy Jones and his crew to make a cow, and this was the result of her first calving season. When it came out a bull I was disappointed but it’s going to prove to be one unique Angus Steer! He’s got fat feet and legs and an awesome look and square back. He was shaggy as a calf, and it’s coming on strong!
In God We Trust
RJ/Vestal 075 (Bankroll x 422 ) BREED LOW CHI // DOB STEER // FERUARY
Last year I sold a HGTA out of 075 and I thought he was a slick shearing Simmental with a holding look! This one is an IGWT and I think he’s knocking on the same door! He’s state fair sized and this one is a full sib to Prins’ competitive steer from Minnesota this past year!
Lot
I sent a video to Brian Fox two Springs ago and asked him what he thought I should run her to and he said HIA. I’m glad I listened because this is one of two very good built, good feeding, and very complete steers! This one is a touch wilder necked! I think they are both holding size and they were both smooth polled and were not shaped on purpose!
In God We Trust Lil Red (Not For Sale) BREED LOW CHI // DOB STEER // MARCH
IGWT x Lil Red is there much more to be said? Other than this one is holding sized and has an awesome combination of muscle punch to structure!

BREED LOW CHI // DOB STEER // MAY
Two years ago, Tyler raised an IGWT that went on to be Champion Chi Prospect Steer at Junior Nationals and class winning AOC at Houston for the Hale family. This year he sends me an IGWT that is holding sized and has the same outlying qualities!

Next Man Up Hollywood x Yellow Jacket x Heatwave BREED LOW CHI // DOB STEER // MAY
I think that as we move forward Next Man Up cattle are going to find their place. I think this calf’s neck, body, and punch is extremely unique and his size says Song of the South!

fall calf sale
Over a decade ago, Cribbs Cattle Company started with just four head and a very big dream. We set out to build something our children could one day be a part of and carry forward into future generations.
Year by year, the operation has grown, guided by hard work, dedication, and a love for the land and livestock.
Over ten years in, it feels like we’re finding our stride. But all of this is about more than just the cattle, it’s about family, purpose, and leaving something meaningful behind when we’re no longer walking this Earth.
