2024 Local Food Week Companion Guide

Page 1

What is Local Food Week?

The Northeast Indiana Local Food Network created Local Food Week as a way for families and farmers to connect around the food they both love. Hundreds of families and local food enthusiasts participate each year.

Our 5th Annual Local Food Week features tours and events hosted by over 35 different farms, markets, restaurants, artisan food producers and organizations, including 20 new hosts this year. Come learn where our local food comes from, meet the folks who produce it, and taste the bounty that comes from Our Land to Our Tables.

This Local Food Week Companion Guide provides an At-a-Glance overview of all the events being offered each day during this region-wide 10-day celebration. Use the QR code to find complete event details on our website, NEIfood.org.

Most Local Food Week events are free, though some require pre-registration. If no pre-registration is needed, just come to the event location at the appointed time to participate.

Got questions? Please reach out to the Local Food Week Host of the event you wish to attend. For general inquiries about Local Food Week reach out to Local Food Week Chair, Denise Hoff at info@neifood.org or text/call her at (260) 438-0954.

Founded in 2018, the Northeast Indiana Local Food Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports the growth of a vibrant local food marketplace across Northeast Indiana. We help to grow and connect the local food economy across our 11 county region by increasing the visibility and economic opportunities for our region’s local food producers and businesses. Your generous support of this community-focused event helps offset event costs, ensuring that Local Food Week remains accessible to everyone and is sustainable now and into the future. We welcome your donation at NEIfood.org/donate.

We value your Local Food Week stories and suggestions! Please share your Local Food Week experiences with us at NEIfood.org/contact OUR LAND. OUR TABLES.
