REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY REQUIEM MASS with An Act of Remembrance The bell is rung and the introit is sung as the celebrant kisses the altar. The Gloria is not sung. My table thou hast furnished My soul he doth restore again; in presence of my foes; and me to walk doth make my head thou dost with oil anoint, within the paths of righteousness, and my cup overflows. even for his own Name's sake. Goodness and mercy all my life Yea, though I walk in death's dark vale, shall surely follow me; yet will I fear no ill; and in God's house for evermore for thou art with me; and thy rod my dwelling place shall be. and staff my comfort still. The Tract is sung before the Gospel After the recitation of The Creed there follows an Act of Remembrance for all victims of war during which there is two minutes of silent prayer for those killed, wounded and mentally scarred by war. The Russian Kontakion of the Departed is sung. The concluding prayer is offered. The Mass then continues in the normal way.
