The Catholic Church and Personal Parish of Our Lady of Walsingham with Saint Cuthbert Mayne
FOURTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY DWSM Propers P.1037 Readings p.966 THE INTROIT HYMN Blest are the pure in heart, for they shall see our God; the secret of the Lord is theirs, their soul is Christ's abode. The Lord, who left the heavens our life and peace to bring, to dwell in lowliness with men, their Pattern and their King;
Still to the lowly soul he doth himself impart and for his dwelling and his throne chooseth the pure in heart. Lord, we thy presence seek; may ours this blessing be; give us a pure and lowly heart, a temple meet for thee.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM The precepts of the Lord, gladden your heart. OFFERTORY HYMN I heard the voice of Jesus say, "Come unto Me and rest; Lay down, thou weary one, lay down, Thy head upon My breast." I came to Jesus as I was, Weary and worn and sad; I found in Him a resting-place, And He has made me glad. I heard the voice of Jesus say, "Behold, I freely give The living water; thirsty one, Stoop down and drink and live." I came to Jesus, and I drank Of that life-giving stream. I heard the voice of Jesus say, My thirst was quenched, "I am this dark world's Light. my soul revived, Look unto Me; thy morn shall rise And now I live in Him. And all thy day be bright." I looked to Jesus, and I found In Him my Star, my Sun; And in that Light of Life I'll walk Till traveling days are done.
