About us
Our Lady of Sion College is a Catholic secondary school for girls from Years 7 to 12 with a long and proud history of educating young women in Box Hill and the eastern suburbs.
In our inclusive community, every student is valued and nurtured, encouraged and supported through the personal relationships we foster. From the moment our students join us, they feel a strong sense of belonging and are encouraged to achieve.
Being an all-girls school we provide a tailored environment for students to thrive in their learning and personal development. Our students have the undivided attention and support of their teachers and are less restrained by gender stereotypes. Our students develop confidence that they can pursue their interests more freely and can challenge themselves in all subjects.
We aim to foster in our students a love for learning, an inquiring and discerning mind, the pursuit of personal excellence, a compassionate concern for others and a strong sense of hope that they can become positive agents of change in their world.
Ultimately, our learning environment and the varied opportunities we provide, support each student’s journey towards becoming the young person God created her to be.
