Hello i am Anita, i tutor students in years 3 – 5 who are preparing for their 11+ entrance exams. I started the business because I had done the 11+,
I failed the exam, and my
experience left me feeling as though I would never be anything other than mediocre at school. I don't want any student feeling this way. My self-belief and self-esteem were pretty low as I was growing up and I ended up in a toxic relationship that almost broke me completely. I have worked as a classroom teacher for almost 17 years, beginning my career in a really challenging secondary school, moving into teaching Primary aged students but I missed the challenges of working with kids who didn’t think they could achieve. I set up my business in 2018 and 2 years later filed for divorce. I lost half of my business during covid and was at the start of a really difficult divorce with 2 teenage children going through GCSEs and A-Level exams. I love what I do because my goal with my business is less about gaining a 100% success rate with the kids I work with, but it’s so much more about supporting them wanting to achieve something that is really challenging, that will make them question themselves but that will ultimately result in them understanding their own strengths and capabilities without the need for anyone else to validate them.
Find out more this way, this business is incredible

Image copyright refers to the legal protection given to the original creators of images, such as photographs, illustrations, paintings, or graphics. It grants the creator exclusive rights to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and modify their work. This means that others cannot use or reproduce the image without permission from the copyright holder, unless they are covered by certain exceptions, such as fair use or creative commons licenses. It's important to respect image copyright and obtain proper permissions or licenses before using someone else's image for commercial or personal purposes. 1. Ownership: The creator of an image is automatically granted copyright ownership as soon as they create it. They don't need to register it or include a copyright symbol (©) for it to be protected. However, registering the copyright with a copyright office can provide additional legal benefits. 2. Duration: Copyright protection generally lasts for the creator's lifetime plus a certain number of years after their death. The duration of copyright can vary depending on the country and the type of work. 3. Fair Use: Fair use is a legal doctrine that allows limited use of copyrighted material without permission for purposes such as criticism, commentary, news reporting, research, or educational purposes. However, the determination of fair use can be complex and is subject to interpretation. 4. Creative Commons: Some creators choose to license their images under Creative Commons, which allows others to use their work under certain conditions specified by the creator. These conditions can include attribution requirements, non-commercial use only, or allowing modifications. 5. Infringement: Unauthorized use of copyrighted images, such as copying, distributing, or using them without permission, can constitute copyright infringement. This can lead to legal consequences, including financial penalties. It's important to be aware of image copyright laws when using or sharing images to ensure that you respect the rights of the creators and avoid any potential legal issues.

When using images on Canva, it's important to understand the terms of use and any copyright restrictions that may apply. Canva provides a library of images, illustrations, and templates that users can choose from. Here are a few key points to consider: 1. Canva's Free Media Library: Canva offers a selection of free images, illustrations, and templates that you can use for your designs. These assets are provided under a license that allows you to use them in both personal and commercial projects. 2. Premium Images: Canva also offers a range of premium images that require a one-time payment or subscription. These images typically come with a license that grants you the right to use them for commercial purposes. 3. Copyright Ownership: It's important to note that using an image in your design does not transfer the copyright ownership to you. The copyright still belongs to the original creator or copyright holder of the image. 4. Uploading Your Own Images: If you upload your own images to Canva, make sure that you have the necessary rights or permissions to use them. This includes ensuring that you own the copyright or have obtained the appropriate licenses or releases from the copyright owners. 5. Attribution: While Canva provides a library of images, it is always a good practice to attribute the original creator of an image if required. Some images may have specific attribution requirements, even if they are available in Canva's library. Remember, it's essential to familiarise yourself with Canva's terms of use and any additional licensing agreements or restrictions that may apply to the specific images you use. If you have any doubts or questions about the copyright status of an image, it's best to seek legal advice or obtain explicit permission from the copyright owner.
Unlocking Success with Google Ads: A Guide for Businesses Introduction: In today's digital age, an effective online advertising strategy can make all the difference for businesses looking to reach their target audience and boost their growth. One such powerful tool that has revolutionized online advertising is Google Ads. With its vast reach, precise targeting options, and data-driven insights, Google Ads has become an essential platform for businesses to connect with potential customers and drive conversions. In this blog, we'll explore the key benefits of Google Ads and provide valuable insights on how businesses can maximize their advertising success. 1. Reach a Wider Audience: Google is the world's most popular search engine, with billions of searches conducted every day. By advertising on Google Ads, businesses can tap into this massive audience base and showcase their products or services to potential customers actively searching for related keywords. Whether it's local or global, Google Ads allows businesses to target specific locations, languages, and demographics, ensuring their ads reach the right people at the right time. 2. Targeted Advertising: One of the most significant advantages of Google Ads is its precise targeting capabilities. Businesses can create highly specific campaigns, targeting keywords, interests, demographics, and even remarketing to those who have previously interacted with their website. This level of targeting ensures that ads are shown to individuals who are more likely to be interested in what the business has to offer, ultimately increasing the chances of conversions and maximizing return on investment (ROI). 3. Flexible Ad Formats: Google Ads offers a variety of ad formats to suit different business goals and engage users effectively. From text-based ads that appear in search results to visually appealing image and video ads that capture attention on websites and YouTube, businesses can choose the format that best showcases their products or services. Moreover, responsive ads automatically adjust their format and size to fit various placements, ensuring optimal visibility across different devices and platforms. 4. Pay-Per-Click Advertising: With Google Ads, businesses only pay when someone clicks on their ads, making it a costeffective advertising solution. This pay-per-click (PPC) model means that businesses are not charged for ad impressions or views; they only pay for actual clicks, ensuring that their budget is spent on potential customers who have shown genuine interest. 5. Data-Driven Optimization: Google Ads provides businesses with comprehensive analytics and reporting tools to measure the performance of their campaigns. From click-through rates (CTR) to conversion tracking, businesses can gain valuable insights into their ad performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize their campaigns for better results. This iterative approach allows businesses to refine their targeting, ad copy, and bidding strategies, ultimately maximizing the effectiveness of their advertising efforts. Conclusion: In today's competitive digital landscape, Google Ads has become an indispensable tool for businesses looking to reach their target audience effectively. With its wide reach, precise targeting options, and data-driven optimizations, Google Ads empowers businesses to connect with potential customers, increase brand awareness, and drive conversions. By leveraging the benefits of Google Ads and adopting a strategic approach, businesses can unlock new levels of success in their online advertising endeavors. So, if you haven't already explored the possibilities of Google Ads, now is the perfect time to get started and take your business to new heights.

Our new flagship campaign, Deserve To Be Heard, aims to ensure that the mental health needs of women, who are all too often not listened to and not believed, are heard and responded to effectively. Survivor voice is at the heart of this campaign, and we will not be silenced until all women and children have access to the mental health support they deserve. Our federation of member services works alongside these women every day and understands their needs. We know that specialist services – particularly those led ‘by and for’ Black and minoritised women, d/Deaf and disabled women, and LGBT+ women – are best placed to deliver the long-term healing needed to support women through the trauma of abuse. Throughout the campaign, we will be highlighting the importance of dedicated funding for these specialist women’s services.
Let's fight this together, women stand together, stand tall and support each other.

Passionate about helping others, the story of Ana Neve is quite unconventional. She started ballet at the age of three, and eventually decided to focus on Irish dancing. She discovered she had a passion for entrepreneurship and business when she opened her online store aged 15, trading Irish dance goods. Both her passions led her to study a BA with Honours Business Administration and a MA Event Festival and Exhibition Management.
Not content with this, Ana Neve is also a mind coach focused on empowering performers and emerging creative artists to get the confidence they need to be the best version of themselves. She keeps in touch with dancing by teaching, performing, competing and taking courses and certifications to improve her practice.

Dawn O'Porter - write, designer, Co Founder of @chooselove I love Dawn, she's always been someone I like to listen too, actually look at her Instagram and follow what she's up too, not because she's in spotlight, that stuff doesn't bother me, what I love is interesting humans, people who have a story, share something of relevance, have intellect and have a passion for something. I first came across Dawn in 2008, I was young, so youthful and full of life (I'm a tired working mum now haha) and I guess impressionable but I always loved a documentary. I remember Dawn firstly for a wicked yellow rain coat she wore, she immediately interested me because of fashion and style, a girl after my own heart for sure. The documentary was Free Lover, it was an eye opener and bloody brilliant as you didn't see many documentaries like that then. Since then Dawn has done so much from epic fashion lines with Joanie and write books, I've read Cows, Paper Aeroplanes, So Lucky and currently Cat Lady, all books you need to read. I'll update in next issue if Holo once I've finished this one :)

www.drjemma.co.uk How to ease into the new season I love the fresh new September/October energy. Actually, I find it more significant than January and new year. Our summer holiday was full on, and I don’t feel ashamed to admit that it’s felt hard and exhausting. With the kids back at school after the summer break,, I’ve been enjoying getting back into our usual rhythm, but I won’t be putting my foot on the gas. I know that in order to transition into the new season I need to process and recover from what has gone before it. I’m going to ease myself back in at my own pace. If this feeling resonates, be gentle with yourself, embrace self-compassion and give yourself what you need. You don’t have to get swept up in the new season hustle. You get to choose what works for you, unapologetically. Here are some tips on how to ease into the new season: 1. Go at your own pace - if you’re not ready to go knee deep into the fresh new season vibes, that’s OK. Giver yourself what you need and go at your own pace. 2. Limit time on social media - Social media is an awesome space, but it can lead to comparisonitis and not feeling good enough if you let it. Try to use social media intentionally and go about living your life in the real world. 3. Set realistic expectations - It’s all very well creating a long to-do list, but realistically do you have the energy and mental capacity to get it all done? Mert your energy levels where you are, see things through a compassionate lens, and take some things off the list. 4. Tap into your joy - Whe you tap into things that make you feel good it instantly makes things feel more easeful and connected. 5. Focus on one thing at a time - It’s easy to get swept up on the overwhelm of the new season and try to do ALL the things. Lighten the load by focusing on one thing at a time.
Hello, I’m Sunita and I carry a few hats on my head. I am a Productivity and Time Management mentor where I provide one-to-one or group mentoring. I have a virtual assistant business that is linked with my travel agent business and my merchandise shop. For this part of my work I will book cruises, family holidays and retreats for coaches and yoga teachers and also help business owners to design their own notebooks, planners, journals and merchandise for their business. I also design my own books and planners. What am I passionate about? I’m passionate about helping business owners to create a schedule so that they can reduce their overwhelm and become more productive and organised, both in their life and business. What led me to take the first step and setting my own business? After working in healthcare for many years, I realised it wasn’t giving me the work-life balance that I wanted. I set up my business just before having my first child and since then I have never given up. What is your vision and mission of your business? My vision is to create a better everyday life for many people My mission is to help clients be organised with: Task management - a way to organise all the stuff you have to do. Prioritisation – a way to decide what you do first. Time management – a way to structure your day so that you get the most important things done. Focus – a way to reduce distractions and accomplish your goals.
How do I manage my daily tasks? I plan and re-plan if needed. I prioritise and break down a big task into smaller tasks and attach appropriate times with each task so that I can get the work done that I need to without having the overwhelm and being present with myself and both of my children.
How do I stay focused and productive in the face of distractions and competing priorities? I implement techniques which I can teach you if you would like to work with me. How do I handle stress and pressure? Whenever I feel the stress or pressure I try to move away from work and meditate, listen to music and do things that will uplift my soul. And also, eat chocolate. Three words to describe me? Patient, Perseverance and Resilient. The one piece of advice that I would give to any aspiring female business owners reading this? Don’t be afraid of making mistakes and see them as an opportunity to learn. I hope you like reading about me.

YOU ALREADY HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED Hands up have you gone through your life believing you are lacking? That some secret part of you feels like you aren’t enough? Embarking on a life collecting numerous experiences that reinforce this belief, and with these words firmly in place in your mind, they limit the choices and moments touched in your every day life. The whisper inside your head constantly telling you you arent enough, that you don’t measure up so don’t even reach or try for anything different in your life. I know from my own personal experience that I walked for years believing I wasent smart enough, attractive enough, slim enough, not loveable enough, not the right body type, or the right clothes and the list went on and on. I walked through life hidden, not daring to show who I was as my greatest fear was that I wouldn't be enough so I hid my truth away. I didn’t shine in situations, relationships, jobs, friendships, I completely camoflagued myself, and ploughed into roles of usefulness for others. Doing and bending over backwards for everyone, the more intense something was the more I would plough into it. Effort, time, energy, thoughts, actions all revolved around a role for others but never the one of showing who I truly was. I was useful, I was the one people turned to in a crisis, I was the ultimate carer of others but not myself. I had the perfect hiding place for my believed lack of value. The experiences accumulated to create a web of proof that the mind would dredge up to confirm and keep in place this limiting belief, that the only way I was worth anything was to do for others, then at least I had some value to someone. There honestly was zero way out of this view of myself and the world. Its like I was waiting to be found out , that others would see my lacking and judge me.. So I created a life based on this, that I would be harshly criticized and the only way to escape this was to be perfect for everyone. No one actually knew me, I had hidden so well I was a palatable verion of something, something not even real, So I served but the service was more like self abandonment and constant doing, as value was not of self, value was what others gave to me by the actions I did for them.
Living with this kind of pressure is like being in a perfect armour, trying to be perfect, act perfect, show up perfectly, say the right thing,do the right thing. Totally and utterly exhausting as there were no days off for good behaviour, no holidays, no rest, it was constant. All the while watching others live their lives free, lighter, enjoying, having fun, when I felt I didn’t have the right credentials to be let into the club of enough, of living. Of actually feeling whole. It’s taken me years on the only journey that truly matters, the journey of looking within, to actually start to connect to the truth about myself, about life and about others. The perfection goggles evaporated as the truth was finally felt, that I already had everything I needed inside of me. I am beautifully whole, and I already have everything I could ever need. So how do you step on this path yourself? In truth it will start with a voice that stirs within, it will start to tell you the weight of the armour you are carrying is too damned heavy. Your body will also get tired,a tiredness that won’t go away, whatever you do, whatever food you eat, exercise you take, regime you put in place. Oh so deeply tired with the reality of ALWAYS trying to be perfect. That self sacrifice is no longer an option. The inner voice was silenced, silenced for years, decades, when the desire to fit in kicked in and meant the only way to complete this mission was to abandon the truth of your individuality. The inner voice never stays permanently buried, it waits patiently until your life is at a tipping point , when there is the knowing and understanding that you can't go back to living as you were. Then the inner voice comes to speak the TRUTH.
She whispers to you She speaks to you She reminds you She holds you As you shatter all that was in the way of her Every barrier Every piece of armour that comes up to try and shield your heart She calls for you to break through She will help you She will support you She will bring messages to knock on every single piece of protective armour Until one day One day the armour surrenders The heart expands and this voice is finally free What is this voice? YOU WHO YOU TRULY ARE Beyond roles Beyond conditioning Beyond learnt behaviour and adaptations YOU, and when you finally arrive home you understand the truth, you already have everything INSIDE OF YOU You are whole You are love You are divine You are sacred You are more than enough You are remarkable Come step on the path dear woman where many women have already walked. There comes a time, a call, a cry when the true wild woman heralds you back home. Listen to her as she beckons you, for she will not stop calling you, as she wants you to be and live freely. To see other women as companions not competition, to reconnect to the beauty and divinity of being a woman. To feel the absolute harmony and connection with all. To serve form the heart not from the head that was looking for confirmation of some value from others, the heart will constantly confirm your value every single moment, Your true value as a divine human being, a true heart, a true spirit , a true divine light and being. To be able to look in the mirror with compassionate, loving eyes. To truly see beyond the illusion of perfection and embrace real honest connection to self, honouring your imperfections, allowing yourself to be human. As you reclaim your humanness you allow others to be the same, human, the separation from everything dissolves with the acceptance and embracing of all that this life walk opens up every single moment.
Meet Jane from Shoestring Cottage @shoestringcottage 1. Tell us about you I live near Colchester in Essex with my partner, Justin, and our cockapoo, Archie. I also have three grown-up daughters. I keep myself busy writing about frugality and saving money generally. Quite relevant for most of us right now! I have a blog, www.shoestringcottage.com, as well as a YouTube channel (@ShoestringJane) and last year I published a book, Extreme Frugality: Save Money Like Your Grandma, available from Amazon. 2. What is Shoestring Cottage, and how did it all begin? I started my blog in 2010. At the time, I had just been through a divorce and was adjusting to a much lower income. I knew I had to learn to live on a strict budget and decided to start the blog to share what I did and keep myself accountable. I was amazed to find that a lot of people were interested in what I was doing. My readership gradually built up until I was able to start running ads and earning a small income from writing. I now write for other websites too on a freelance basis. 3. What are you doing at the moment? As well as writing my blog, freelance writing and making YouTube videos, I earn money by selling stuff online. I have become very interested in vintage items and antiques, so I often scour charity shops and boot sales looking for treasures. I love interesting old things! We moved house last year, so I am also on the hunt for ways to redecorate on a budget. Both for financial and environmental reasons, I prefer to purchase second-hand whenever possible. 4. Can you give us the top 5 tips that you live by? Here are some actions I began taking when I started my frugal journey. These are now second nature and I recommend them to anybody. Write a monthly budget to help you manage your money. It sounds boring, and I suppose it is, but having a written budget will take a lot of stress out of your life. It allows you to see exactly what is coming in and going out, to plan ahead for things like Christmas, birthdays or home renovations, and to start a rainy-day fund for emergencies. If you can't afford it, don't buy it! We seem to need endless stuff to make us happy. It rarely works and can lead to debt. Before you buy anything, ask yourself the following questions. Do I really need it? Do I really want it? If I don't buy it, will I care tomorrow? Do I already own something that will do the same job? Could I get it second-hand or borrow it? As mentioned before, I buy second-hand by default. This saves so much money! Almost all of my furniture and homeware was bought second-hand, along with most of my clothing. Purchasing second-hand enables me to buy better quality than I could afford new and stops things from going to landfill. Before you go grocery shopping, write a rough meal plan for the week ahead. Then make a shopping list, bearing in mind the provisions already in your cupboards and fridge. You will save a surprising amount of money doing this as you will buy only what you need. This helps you spend less and reduce your food waste. Learn to cook. Not only is it healthier to cook from scratch, but it is also much cheaper. Cooking doesn't have to be super timeconsuming, either. Once you start exploring recipes, you can make a list of those that are quick and easy and batch-cook in larger quantities.
