Pembroke Pines Hosts TWO Easter Egg Hunts
Kids and their families hopped on over to the Pines Recreation Center and Pembroke Shores Park to hunt for more than 52,000 hidden treasures. Hopeful Easter Egg hunters had baskets ready to fill with candy. The kids ran with joy as they collected the candy-filled treats.
The annual egg hunt became so popular that the City of Pembroke Pines hosted TWO events this year. In addition to the egg hunt, there was a kid’s zone, complete with bouncy castles, slides, and much more. There was also a talent show where local youngsters showed off their singing and dancing skills.

Kids had their face’s painted, played with friends, and enjoyed the perfect South Florida spring weather. There were even visits from Mr. Peter Rabbit himself, The Easter Bunny!
A happy mom, named Cassandra commented, “What a wonderful day for the children. Everyone had so much fun. It’s so lovely living in a city where we can enjoy these types of events.”
