Florida Festival Polonaise –Polish American Heritage Event

The easiest and cheapest trip to Poland is just a few miles away for the Polish American community. Polish culture, music, dance, celebrities, food, and beverages can all be experienced at Florida Festival Polonaise in downtown Fort Lauderdale at Esplanade Park. Friday Night Sound Waves

Friday Night Sound Waves gives you the opportunity to enjoy free music at the beach. The Hot Brass featuring Debbie Pierce is a high-energy eight-to-ten-piece band featuring the music from the supergroup Earth, Wind, and Fire. This hot group also adds more flavor to the show with songs from the 2004 Chicago Earth, Wind, and Fire World Tour. Great American Beach Party

Kick off the summer on Memorial Day weekend at the Great American Beach Party, a tradition in the City of Fort Lauderdale. Celebrate with family and friends as a portion of Fort Lauderdale’s world-famous beach transforms into an entertainment mecca. Highlights from this free, family-friendly event include live bands, water slides, a kids zone, a classic car show, an art show, a sand sculpting contest, a SOCOM Para-Commandos parachute jump, a military tribute, the Walk of Fame ceremony, vendors, exhibitors, and so much more!

Carter Park Jamz

Enjoy a free concert series with a broad range of musical varieties featuring a different live performer each showtime! Old School Field Day

Join the City of Fort Lauderdale Parks & Recreation Department for a fun and friendly outdoor event with competitive games, old-school funk music, an obstacle course, bounce houses, face painting, arts and crafts, and light refreshments. Memorial Day Ceremony

Join The City of Fort Lauderdale to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our great nation in the United States Armed Forces. Music for the Memorial Day Ceremony will be performed by the Fort Lauderdale Symphonic Winds, featuring James Perkowski.
