Gerome Roberts Gerome "Quick Jack" Roberts born December 17, 1947 to Roman Roberts and Rose Ziegler.

He was married to Gwen Paige Roberts. Of this union are two children, Holley Rose Roberts and Ricky John Roberts.

Family was important to Gerome. He was a very kind person. Always willing to give a helping hand. He worked hard all of his life.

He worked for Southern Shipbuilding Corp., Slidell, LA; Indian Towing Company, New Orleans, LA; Bayou Liberty Water, Slidell, LA and St. Tammany Parish School Maintenance Department. He enjoyed life. He loved to fish, hunt, cook, ride motorcycles and spend time with family and friends. In the mid 90's he started having strokes and his health started to deteriorate. On June 13, 2014 he took a turn for the worst and the Lord called him home.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roman and Rose Roberts, brothers Elby, Leo, Glendall, and sister Helen. He leaves to mourn wife Gwen, two children Holley Rose and Ricky John Roberts; sister, Iris Ann McBride; brothers, Cliff (Cecelia), Michael (Cynthia) and Craig Roberts, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
