Winter is in the air, and with it comes a season where Broomfield shines its brightest, as the community comes together in generosity and spirit. This holiday season, Bal Swan Children’s Center offers three meaningful ways to contribute and make a difference. Through these special opportunities, we can help make the season brighter for the children and families they serve.

Colorado Gives Day officially falls on December 10, but you can join the wave of generosity from now through that date! By choosing to support Bal Swan Children’s Center, your contribution will directly benefit its amazing students, helping to keep class sizes small so teachers can deliver a curriculum that fosters curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, communication, and compassion. While the Boulder Valley School Board's decision on the proposed Grove Elementary School won’t arrive until January, it's hard not to feel excited about the prospect of a new school dedicated to building a compassionate community where students, families, and staff can thrive. In the meantime, there’s plenty of opportunity to lend your support by emailing the Boulder Valley School Board at bvs.board@bvsd.org . Executive Director Debbie Kunz reminds us, 'Children achieve more—academically, socially, and emotionally—when they feel secure, safe, valued, and seen as members of a community.'

With the holidays fast approaching, Bal Swan has a unique gift idea for everyone on your Christmas list. They’re hosting a Pampered Chef Party, with all proceeds from orders going toward gift baskets for this year’s annual Ball. Hosted by Kristin Kinchen, the party runs through December 18.
