The Broomfield Area Chamber is a member-driven, nonprofit organization that collaborates with our members, local governments, and civic organizations to support and advocate for members and the broader business community. Membership is open to anyone, whether your business is in the northwest Denver metro, or even another state. • Attend Some of the OVER 100 Annual Networking Events. The Broomfield Area Chamber offers a wide variety of programs designed to inspire collaboration and foster relationships. Our diverse group of business leaders meet weekly to network and spur conversations..

• Host or Attend a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. All members get 1 FREE Ribbon Cutting ceremony each year. As a Chamber, we invite our Ambassadors, Board of Directors, and City Council (based on availability) to these events, and promote the event on our website and social media.

• Join One of Our Board-Level Committees. One of the greatest strengths of the Broomfield Area Chamber is our volunteers. Many of the folks who give their time and talent do so on Chamber Committees. Chamber committees help set direction, manage advocacy, assist in membership initiatives, and help manage events. Our committees include Advocacy, Education, Events, Nonprofit, and Membership.

• Attend One of Our Education Events. With the help of our Membership Committee, the Broomfield Area Chamber hosts different education opportunities, including seminars and Lunch & Learn series, throughout the year.

• Promote Your Events and Specials on the Chamber Website. If you are hosting an event, or have a special promotion going on, whether it’s just for other members or for the public, use your membership to promote those on the Chamber website.

• Let Us Send an Email Blast for You. Whether you are running a promotion, have an upcoming event you want to promote, or just want to spread awareness about your business to the rest of the membership, sending out an email blast is a great way to spread your reach.

The Broomfield Area Chamber offers a comprehensive range of benefits and programs designed to enhance business visibility, networking opportunities, and growth resources for its members. These perks are tailored to support both new and existing members, ensuring that businesses can maximize their Chamber membership value.

Networking and Exposure

Members benefit from warm introductions to other member businesses and business referrals from the Chamber office. New members receive immediate visibility through listings on the Chamber website and social media. A FREE Ribbon Cutting ceremony and a spotlight on Chamber social media (2–3-minute video) provide additional exposure. For those involved in international trade, the Chamber offers free Certificates of Origin, valued at $75, and new members also enjoy complimentary registration for their first Business After Hours event, a prime networking opportunity.

Networking opportunities are abundant, with events like Coffee and Conversation with the Chamber (3C), Pints with Pat, and the larger monthly Business After Hours, which typically attracts 60-80 attendees. These events provide valuable opportunities to build relationships and exchange ideas with other business professionals.

The Chamber’s Leads Groups are designed to help members generate business by sharing qualified sales leads and referrals in a structured environment. These groups meet regularly, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that encourages mutual support and business growth.

Our newest Chamber program, Power Partners Networking, is designed to connect our members with those complimentary businesses that typically work together and can make the best referral partners. This program is FREE for our members. Each Networking Group holds a monthly or quarterly mixer event at one of our member locations, typically a bar or restaurant.

Event Participation and Discounts

Members have access to exclusive events and discounts, including a free booth at the Broomfield Area Bites & Brews for food and drink vendors and non-profits, worth $350. Significant discounts and early registration opportunities are available for the Annual Broomfield Days event. Members can also host networking events and educational seminars, further establishing their presence in the community.

Promotional and Advertising Opportunities

The Chamber offers a variety of promotional tools to help members increase their brand visibility throughout the communities at no additional cost. The New Member Welcome Bag, distributed to new members, includes swag, flyers, and brochures from existing members. Additionally, the Chamber office features a display stand showcasing members’ promotional materials.

Members can also be featured in the Chamber’s weekly e-Newsletter, which reaches over 500 businesses. This includes one free ad placement every six months, with options for additional paid ads. For broader reach, members can send an email blast to the entire Chamber membership for $150, a service that is FREE for our members with over 100 employees.

Additional Member Perks

Members can promote their meeting and event spaces on the Chamber website for free, as well as promote their own upcoming events on the Chamber calendar, an excellent way to attract local clients. The Chamber also offers a Member Spotlight video feature, shared across its social media channels, which varies from a short personal video introduction to an in-depth podcast interview, depending on membership level.

2024-25 EVENT CALENDAR: CHAMBER SIGNATURE EVENTS

The Broomfield Area Chamber holds seven Signature Events per year. These events provide a fun way to stay updated on what’s going on in the Chamber and in the Broomfield area in general, network with other members and non-members, and have FUN! Your sponsorship dollars help us hold these events for the benefit of all our members, and the Broomfield area communities in general.

FEBRUARY

The Chamber Annual Meeting is designed to provide essential information about our local business community to Chamber members. Highlights from this event include a discussion of opportunities and challenges in the Broomfield-area business community, a State of the City and County of Broomfield presentation, and recognition of the Chamber’s outgoing and incoming Board Members.

FEBRUARY/MARCH

The Broomfield Member Celebration and Business Excellence Awards event is held every spring to celebrate our membership and recognize the hard work, community impact, and achievements of area businesses. In addition to the awards ceremony, the evening regularly includes casino games, door prizes, music, and more!

JULY

The Great American Picnic is a community event held annually on the 4th of July and is sponsored by the City and County of Broomfield. Thousands of people gather to celebrate this national holiday with their family and friends at Broomfield County Commons Park. This is a family-friendly event with something for everyone, including pony rides, inflatables, and a bike parade for the kids, live music, food vendors, and a Beer Garden, which is run by the Chamber, for the adults. The evening culminates in a spectacular fireworks display at dusk.

The Broomfield Area Bites & Brews Festival (formerly Taste of Broomfield) showcases restaurants, caterers, breweries, and more, and is one of the top tasting events in northern Colorado. Attendees enjoy bite-sized samples and sips from some of the area’s premier establishments for one all-you-care-to-sample ticket price. Join your friends and neighbors for an evening to remember!

SEPTEMBER

Broomfield Days is the biggest community event of the year, drawing upwards of 30,000 people to Midway Park. The celebration is packed with activities including the Chamber Trade Fair, two beer gardens (managed by the Chamber), the Mayor’s 5K race, a clown contest, a parade, food booths, entertainment stages, and much more. The event features 90 trade show booths, available to both Chamber members and not-yet-members, with member booths available at deep discounts. The celebration also features a large craft fair and nonprofit booths.

OCTOBER

The Annual Chamber Cornhole Tournament is paired with the annual Member Appreciation Picnic. The picnic is free for Broomfield Area Chamber members, and the Cornhole Tournament is open to teams of two ($50 entry fee per team) who would like to compete for the title of Chamber Cornhole Champion!

The annual Women in Business Event, EmpowHer, is dedicated to empowering, inspiring, and connecting women in business. The event will feature guest speakers, breakout education sessions, and trade show booths. EmpowHer is open to all, and welcomes everyone who champions equal opportunities and supports an environment where women can thrive.

NOVEMBER

Leadership Broomfield is a three-month education course, typically running from November through February. Participants meet local government officials, city and county leaders, tour local businesses and nonprofits, and learn strategies for enhancing leadership abilities and engaging with the community.

Wadsworth Boulevard, it later became known as Broomfield, a nod to the fields of broom corn grown in the area. In the 1950s, Broomfield grew into a suburban enclave for Denver, drawing families in search of a peaceful, residential environment.

Incorporated as a city in 1961, Broomfield became Colorado’s first planned community. Its development was guided by a master plan adopted in 1974, which has been regularly updated to ensure sustainable growth. Broomfield made history again in 2001 when it became Colorado’s 64th county—the first new county added in nearly a century. This milestone marked Broomfield’s evolution into a self-sustaining city and county.

Today, Broomfield’s population exceeds 77,000, making it the 16th largest city in Colorado. It spans over 34 square miles, with a population density of about 2,332 people per square mile. The City and County of Broomfield is renowned statewide for its wide range of hiking, biking, and recreational opportunities and created in large part thanks to visionary municipal planners, including the Broomfield Area Chamber.
