About the Fund
e Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund was founded as a non-pro t organization in 1949 and is thought Golf Charity of Massachusetts. Its purpose is to help deserving young men and women who have worked at golf courses in Massachusetts obtain a college education. We provide need-based undergraduate scholarships, which are renewable four years. e Ouimet Fund is the largest independent scholarship in New England.

How Are Financial Awards Determined
• Ouimet Scholars are accepted on a merit-based application and interview process




• e amount of a Scholar’s nancial award is determined by personal nancial need. e Ouimet Fund can analyze tuition costs, college grants, and the estimated family contribution through the submitted CSS and FAFSA forms
• Ouimet Scholarships can be renewable for up to four years

Honorary Book Award



• Honorary “Book Awards” are for Ouimet Scholars who do not display nancial need for that year based on the listed criteria
• Book awards are $750 per student and are renewable for up to four years
