OU Scholarship Opportunities: We offer a variety of scholarships to help offset the investment in an OU education, including academic awards ranging from $20,000 to $68,000 or more. For the fall 2025 incoming class, over 90% of freshmen received a scholarship from the Office of Admissions and Recruitment. Here are a couple of tips on how to get the best financial assistance possible:
1. Apply for outside scholarships. Apply for scholarships from a variety of organizations. Look into opportunities through local banks, chambers of commerce, Rotary clubs, Lion’s clubs, community foundations, sports teams, churches, etc.
2. Submit the FAFSA. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. Completing the FAFSA allows you to receive consideration for state and federal financial aid, including loans, grants and work study opportunities.

Mandatory fees include: semester fees, academic facility and life safety, special event, activity, assessment, network connectivity, student facility, library, security services, transit, health, cultural, records and academic advising fees.
