OU has allowed me to explore opportunities I never expected to have. The Big Event not only serves as the largest student-run event at OU, but also our biggest day of community service. This year, over 4,200 volunteers from the OU Family completed 20,000+ hours of community service at 170 local job sites in a single day, saving several Oklahoma nonprofits an estimated $500,000 in labor costs.
