The Junior Board of Magic Moments will spice up a good cause with the football-inspired Kick’n Chick’n Wing Fest. The Oct. 9 event in downtown Homewood benefits Magic Moments. Janet Holloway has always wanted to see the nation by bike. But a busy schedule limited her rides to nearby parks and a stationary bike at the Shades Valley YMCA until recently, when she completed a coast-to-coast ride. See Life, page 12.
