Myers describes the overall atmosphere as “upscale, but vibey.” Wren & Wolf opened in De- cember of 2021.
Wren refers to the Cactus Wren, the state bird of Arizona. Wolf refers to what Myers describes as the “badass of the nocturnal creatures.” The restaurant has a decidedly masculine feel. The space is decorated with some taxidermy including birds that hang from the ceiling. And yes, one taxidermied creature is a wolf. The rest of the décor includes plush leather couches, a large painting with a black background featuring a couple of wolves, a gleaming well-lit marble bar and dark blue painted walls.
In the morning hours, Wren & Wolf features a coffee window that sells coffee, of course, and house-made pastries. The window opens up to the office building where Wren & Wolf is housed to attract those morning workers.
