THROUGHTHE DECADESWITH ROYORBISON& BUDDYHOLLY

Saturday 4th March 8pm £19

Whilst Buddy Holly’s career was cut short by tragedy, the distinctive and hiccupping vocal heard on songs like ‘Oh Boy’ and ‘Peggy Sue’ earned him 13th in Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the ‘100 Greatest Artists of all Time’.

An equally revered songwriter and performer, Roy Orbison’s trademark falsetto married melancholy with bubblegum pop to immortalise songs like ‘In Dreams’ and ‘Pretty Woman’.

60 years on from Buddy Holly’s untimely death - Marc Robinson, the star of Buddy: The Musical - will join forces with Roy Orbison’s ‘truly remarkable likeness’, Darren Page, for an homage to two rock ‘ n ’ roll legends.

Will rock 'n' roll in Otley ever die? That’ll be the day!
