PROGRAMS OSU-Tulsa’s Aerospace Administration and Operations program transitioned its offerings to a hybrid format that meets 2-3 times in person and the rest online to better accommodate working adults. Enrollment in the program has nearly doubled.

OSU-Tulsa is the home to OSU’s School of Materials Science and Engineering, which focuses on creating innovative materials for energy, biomedical, aerospace and defense and electronics and control technologies.

The Tulsa Professional MBA at OSU-Tulsa offers flexible, eight-week hybrid classes for working professionals that blend the convenience of online with in-person meetings and networking with Tulsaarea business leaders.

The OSU School Administration program is headquartered at OSUTulsa and focuses on creating the next generation of leaders in Tulsa’s PK-12 schools. As part of this program, the Brock Fellowship in Educational Leadership allows teachers to earn a master’s degree in about 18 months at a substantially reduced out-of-pocket cost and while staying in their workplaces.

OSU-Tulsa plans to double the number of degrees and certificates available 100% in Tulsa in the next three to five years.

INNOVATION OSU’s New Product Development Center has a location at OSU’s Helmerich Research Center and provides business analysis, product development and inventor assistance to local companies.

Since its founding, the NPDC has created the potential for more than 500 new jobs and has helped generate tens of millions of dollars in new revenue for Oklahoma manufacturers.

OSU-Tulsa recently offered its inaugural Spanish-language informational event for Tulsa’s Hispanic community, partnering with community organizations to provide information and resources for families interested in college.

TeleED ECHO allows Oklahoma’s educational leaders, especially those in remote or isolated areas, to share best practices, receive ongoing and timely professional development and collaborate to help resolve complex issues and questions. The live virtual sessions are led by OSU-Tulsa faculty in partnership with OSU Center for Health Sciences Project ECHO.

OSU-Tulsa is part of the Tulsa Transfer Initiative, a group of six Tulsa-area higher education institutions focused on improving the transfer experience for Tulsa Community College students and increasing the number of people with bachelor’s degrees in Tulsa.

$1.9 million Recently awarded to two OSU-Tulsa Helmerich Research Center faculty researchers and their colleague by the U.S. Department of Energy to develop environmentally sustainable processes for recovering oil and natural gas from unconventional shale resources.
