UR heartfelt condolences go to the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on the death of a brilliant and worthy son who had so much to give. This is a road that has been travelled in the past by so many other great men such as Obafemi Awolowo, Bola Ige and so forth. It is a terrible road to travel. As our indomitable Asiwaju bears the loss with characteristic fortitude we commend to the great man, the words of the Greek – Poet 525 BC – 456BC poet Aeschylus on tragedy. So that he will gain “Wisdom through the grace of God.” “And even in our sleep pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom by the grace of God.” To quote the Greek poet again the Asiwaju should be rest assured that “There is a no pain as great as the memory of joy in present grief…. “ We know that the memories of a promising young life will always be there to remember as we extend our condolences to the Tinubu family. While commiserating with Asiwaju over the loss of Jide, we wish to remind him that, the Quran states unequivocally that “from Him we came and to Him we shall return”. Almighty Allah knows what we, ordinary mortals do not know, so we beseech Asiwaju to take this loss with equanimity.
