Canada-Based Foundation Donates N3.5bn Medical Equipment To Osun Hospitals

ACanadian based Nongovernmental organizaon, Shola Agboola Goodwill Ambassador (SAGA) Founda on, has donated medical equipment worth N3.5bn to some health facili es in Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Cons tuency of the State of Osun.

Presen ng the equipment at the State General Hospital, IlaOrangun on Tuesday, the founder of the NGO, Shola Agboola, said the dona on was a result of his painful experience while growing up.

Agboola said he lost his father at the age of 13 due to non-availability of tetanus injecons at the hospital he was rushed to a er he accidentally stepped on a nail at a construcon site.

According to him, “This medical equipment was donated to SAGA Founda on by the government of Canada through an organisa on called Interna onal Hope Canada and we have been doing this for the past 10 years all over Nigeria.
