ONTROVER SIES have surrounded the abandonment of four different projects in Ejigbo, Ede-North, Egbedore and Ife Central local governments of Osun State. The projects, which included road rehabilita on, provision of motorized borehole, erosion control and construc on of civic centre which were

were approved and funded by former President Buhari’s administra on. According to Tracka, a sum of N413.6m was paid to First Broad Interna onal Ltd for the rehabilita on of Awo internal roads in Egbedore local government.

But the project has not been executed as of the me of filing this report. OSUN DEFENDER learnt that a sum of N4.3m was earmarked for the provision of motorised borehole at Ejigbo town. However, the report by Tracka revealed

that the project has not been done, just as it called on Niger Delta RBDA, the implemen ng agency of the project, to provide the public with report of the project and facilitate its execu on. Tracka also claimed that a sum of N30m was allocated for the construc on of a Community Civil Centre in

Ara, Egbedore local government of Osun state, but the project has not been executed. The project was reportedly handled by Cocoa Research Ins tute Ibadan, according to Tracka.
