Using the brush & looking after it

The hypoallergenic brush head is composed of distinctive synthetic filaments and is suitable for all skin types, even the most delicate. The head is also multi-functional and adaptable to various makeup textures, thanks to the specific combination of fibres. The brush head itself is extremely silky and pleasant to the touch along with being cruelty free, vegan, and latex free.

For cleaning and maintaining the head, we suggest using a solid brush cleaner. Its formula is multi-purpose and suitable for both synthetic and natural hairbrushes, as well as makeup sponges and blenders. It is neutral and enriched with essential oils with a light, pleasant scent.

It works well with both warm and cold water and eliminates dirt and germs that usually remain on make-up applicators. The soap is poured straight into a customizable aluminium tin with a screw type lid. It does not contain either colourants or irritating substances.

This soap perfectly cleans brushes, accessories, and makeup sponges – even creamy and oily textures. It also prevents the brush’s natural hair from hardening and drying up, thanks to its conditioning ingredients which also have a healing effect on the tuft by maintaining and improving its softness, flexibility, and shine.

The process of pouring the soap into the tin also helps to reduce waste. After drying, your brush will be clean, soft, and delicately scented. The poured soap is produced in Italy and is cruelty free, vegan, and easy to carry with you when travelling.

For the jewellery aspect of the brush (the ferrule, ring and handle), do not use abrasive products or cloths and do not rub to try and bring a shine back. We recommend you have these parts cleaned by a professional to avoid any issues and unnecessary damage.

Alternatively, you can send your brush(s) back to Oska Murano and we will complete the necessary work and return them to you as if they were new. Please note that this is a chargeable service.
