Osceola County - News Investigación de casas en ejecución Hipotecaria Condado Osceola, FL Recientemente, el Secretario de la Corte del Condado Osceola, Armando Ramírez, nos envió la siguiente declaración en referencia a la investigación de casas en ejecución hipotecaria: "En la actualidad, la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado Osceola sigue llevando a cabo una investigación en relación con las graves acusaciones de fraude de las familias víctimas, a saber 156. La Oficina del Sheriff afirma que hasta ahora no han sido capaces de detectar cualquier fraude. Y, ni que decir, la investigación continúa. Homes foreclosure investigation Osceola County, FL - Recently, the Secretary of the Osceola County Court, Armando Ramirez, sent us the following statement in reference to the homes foreclosure investigation: “Currently, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is still conducting an investigation in connection with serious allegations of fraud of victimized families, to wit 156. The Sheriff’s Office claims that so far they have not been able to detect any fraud. And, needless to say, the investigation is continuing.

I hope that the victimized families from Osceola County who lost their homes or are about to lose their homes find legal remedy and justice. Needless to say, the majority of the victimized homeowners are minorities, particularly, Hispanics. KUA - Noticias / News KUA honra los 25 años de servicio del Dr. Gant, creando beca Kissimmee, FL - La junta de directores de Kissimmee Utility Authority honró al Dr. George Gant por un cuarto de siglo de servicio a la comunidad y anunció la creación de una beca universitaria por 25 años que llevará su nombre. Desde 1985, Gant se ha desempeñado en diversos cargos en la junta directiva de la empresa, entre ellos director, secretario asistente, secretario, vicepresidente y presidente, así como miembro ex-officio en dos ocasiones mientras se desempeñaba como alcalde de Kissimmee - para un total de 9,132 días ó 25 años de servicio.

La beca se otorgará por la cantidad de $2,500 por año a un estudiante que se gradúe con domicilio en el territorio de servicio de KUA. La beca será administrada por la Fundación de Educación del Condado Osceola. Gant es un ex comisionado de la ciudad de Kissimmee y director médico jubilado del Departamento de Salud del Condado Osceola. KUA Honors Gant’s 25 Years of Service, Creates Scholarship Kissimmee, FL - The Kissimmee Utility Authority board of directors on Wednesday honored Dr. George Gant for his quarter century of service to the community and announced the creation of a 25-year college scholarship that will bear his name. Since 1985, Gant has served in a variety of roles on the utility board, including director, assistant secretary, secretary, vice chairman and chairman, as well as an ex-officio member twice while serving as Kissimmee’s mayor – totaling 9,132 days or 25 years of service. The scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $2,500 per year to a graduating student residing in the KUA service territory. The scholarship

DK Consultores LLC no contactó a la Secretaria del Condado Osceola. Por mutuo acuerdo, fechas de presentación específicas del 1 de junio de 2012 al 1 de junio 2014 fueron seleccionados como las fechas de presentación a examinarse; sin embargo, no había nada que les prohibiera a los examinadores el realizar un examen forense fuera de estos plazos si se encontraba causa probable para buscar fuera de esos parámetros, donde se aplicarían presuntas violaciones penales; este fue el caso. Era la intención inicial del Secretario tener este examen forense y la investigación llevada a cabo de sus registros debido al actual estado de cosas sospechosas que rodean ciertas entidades corporativas que operan dentro de los Estados Unidos y el Estado de la Florida, que parece haber manchado

su propiedad real y registros de la corte con los documentos presentados falsos, tergiversados y maliciosos que no sólo han comprendido la integridad de los registros que este fue debidamente elegido para mantener, sino también pueden haber cometido crímenes contra el pueblo del Estado de Florida, así como en contra de los propietarios de bienes inmuebles del Condado Osceola, Florida. El secretario por tanto adquirió contractualmente los servicios de los examinadores para llevar a cabo dicha investigación, en virtud de un examen forense integral, que tuvo lugar inicialmente entre el 14 de julio hasta el 18 de julio 2014, y continuó después hasta el momento en que los resultados del examen fueron entregados en el informe. DK Consultants LLC did not solicit the Osceola County Clerk. By mutual agreement, specific filing dates of June 1, 2012 through June 1, 2014 were selected as target filing dates; however, there was nothing prohibiting the examiners from conducting a forensic examination outside of those target dates if they found probable cause to search outside of those parameters where alleged criminal violations would apply; such was the case here.

It was the initial intent of this Clerk to have this forensic examination and investigation conducted of his records due to the current state of suspect affairs surrounding certain corporate entities operating within the United States and the State of Florida that appear to have tainted his real property and court records with false, misrepresentative and malicious filings that have not only comprised the integrity of the records he was duly elected to maintain, but also may have committed crimes against the people of the State of Florida as well as against the real property owners of Osceola County, Florida. The Clerk therefore contractually retained the examiners to conduct such an investigation by virtue of a comprehensive forensic examination, which initially took place between July 14 through July 18, 2014, and continued thereafter until the time the results of the examination were released in this report. There appears to be probable cause to believe that criminal activity within both sets of these records did in fact occur.

A year has passed since Governor Rick Scott signed the bill that created the new regional Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX). I’m grateful to the Osceola County Commission for appointing me to represent our county on the CFX board. It has been a busy year, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished in such a short amount of time. One example is improving the interchange at State Road 417 and Boggy Creek Road. Our hope is that this project will provide Osceola County residents with better access to the Orlando International Airport. The entire project is expected to wrap up in summer 2016. I’m sure you’ve heard about the Florida Department of Transportation’s I-4 Ultimate Improvement Project. With construction lasting for about six years, the CFX board members and I believe it’s important to provide relief to the traveling public. The celebration of this event took place last Friday, at Holy Redeemer Church Social Hall. “Luz de America” was the nickname given to Quito which saw the first revolt against Spanish occupation. NASA - Noticias / News Plantas y verduras en el Espacio Los astronautas de la Estación Espacial Internacional continúan probando ‘equipos VEGGIE’ para el cultivo de hortalizas y plantas en el espacio. VEGGIE proporciona iluminación y suministro de nutrientes para las plantas en forma de una cámara de crecimiento de bajo costo y almohadas de cultivo ayudando a proporcionar nutrientes para el sistema de raíces. Proporciona una gran variedad de especies de plantas que pueden ser cultivadas para propósitos educativos, comida fresca e incluso la recreación para los miembros de la tripulación en misiones de larga duración. Este proyecto para continuar trabajando en la prueba de validación de equipo VEGGIE (VEG-01) comenzó el Lunes, 20 de julio 2015 cuando el astronauta de la NASA Scott Kelly fotografió el progreso de las plantas hasta el momento y les dio de beber al día siguiente. Plants and Vegetables in Space Astronauts on the International Space Station continue testing the VEGGIE hardware for growing vegetables and plants in space. VEGGIE provides lighting and nutrient supply for plants in the form of a low-cost growth chamber and planting "pillows" -- helping provide nutrients for the root system. It supports a variety of plant species that can be

cultivated for educational outreach, fresh food and even recreation for crew members on long-duration missions. Further work on the VEGGIE hardware validation test (VEG01) began on Monday, July 20, 2015 when NASA astronaut Scott Kelly photographed the progress

of the plants thus far and watered them the next day. On Friday, July 24, new crew member and NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren took over watering duties and photographic documentation of the plants. Knowledge from this investigation could benefit agricultural practices on Earth by designing systems that use valuable resources, such as water, more efficiently.

Por esas cosas de la vida estuve de paso por un mes en la Gran Manzana (NYC- Manhattan y sus barrios). ¡Por la gran mezcla de culturas, se podrán imaginar que salir a comer es un viaje alrededor del mundo! La diversidad y cantidad de restaurantes es tan grande que puedes pasar un año haciendo las tres comidas fuera sin repetir lugar alguno y todas las posibles culturas. Y si tienes el tiempo de sentarte a pasar un rato en la hora de almuerzo, debes visitar Les Halles, con el mejor Steak Tartare el cual lo hacen frente a tí, en la mesa. La y la opción de el Pato que es exquisito. Este restaurante fue en el último donde Anthony Bourdain trabajó de Chef Ejecutivo antes de comenzar su fama televisiva. Si andas por la zona de Chinatown no te pierdas Canal Seafood Restaurant. Llevo visitando éste establecimiento desde hace años y aunque antes era uno visitado casi exclusivamente por locales de Chinatown, te sentabas con muchas personas a comer en la mesa y se convertía en un sitio donde salías con "mil nuevos amigos”... Hace un par de años lo renovaron y está mucho más limpio, con un menú más extenso. El pato horneado ó rostizado sigue siendo de mis favoritos. En la cena, cuando pienses en carnes tipo "steak", recomiendo BLT. El servicio, las carnes y sobre todo los "Gruyère Popovers" que

los sirven en forma de panes para comenzar la experiencia culinaria; son espectaculares! Ordenamos el "Cowboy Steak" que sirven con la médula para acompañarlo. ¡Nos encantó! El restaurante es elegante y acogedor, con porciones grandes de acuerdo al gusto. Con dos (2) servicios de carne y acompañamientos, comimos cuatro(4) personas. Si se encuentran con ganas de aventurar puede ir al "Lower West Side" de Manhattan, en Greenwich Village, dónde se encuentra el restaurante hindú Milon. Es una experiencia para disfrutar el ambiente, el lugar, la música, el servicio y la comida. Te transporta a Mumbai, sintiéndote dentro de un autobús escolar con mil luces de navidad y música de Bollywood; es así de pequeño y ambientado, pues de entrada ya estás pasándola bien. La comida la puedes pedir sin especias sazonadas (pique), pues siempre traen a la mesa diferentes tipos de especias para aquel que disfrute de su comida "hot" . Pedimos cinco (5) platos diferentes para poder probar un poco de todo. ¡Fue una noche inolvidable! Los domingos en NY la idea es caminar el Parque Central y reservar en un "brunch" en la ciudad. Normalmente lo hago con anticipación. Mi favorito es Balthazar NYC en SOHO, el cual es un bistro Francés que les puedo decir, después de haber probado casi todo el menú, que no tienen nada que no me guste... todo es fresco y exquisito.

With the great mix of cultures you can imagine that in New York, dining out is a trip around the world! The diversity and quantity of restaurants is so large you can spend a year doing three meals out without repeating a site or a culture! Higher up in the sophistication level, but further down in town, closer to Union Square, you need to make time to sit and hang out at lunchtime...go to Les Halles. They have the WORLD's BEST Steak Tartare, which all ingredients are brought and mixed right in front of you by very skilled servers. Also the choice of Duck is fantastic, or should I say MAGNIFIQUE! In short, it is delicious and extremely well made; a delicacy to say the least. This restaurant is best known for one of its former chefs... Anthony Bourdain, before he became a TV Celebrity. In Chinatown, much further south, do not miss Canal street, and go to Chinatown Seafood Restaurant. We have been going to this place for years. In years past it was a local, family style type of dining, where local residents eat and dine. Then, we liked to sit with many of them and share and enjoy the many varieties and flavors of authentic Chinese food where we all ate at the same table. Now it is completely renovated, no longer a "hole in the wall", with a more modern ambiance, and no longer the family style share your dish format, with a little less affordable meals, but still incredibly tasty and a great value. Of course prices have risen somewhat, but the roasted Pekin Duck is still one of the finest in NYC, and one of my favorite dishes. At dinner for a GREAT Steak, choose BLT higher up near Central Park. The service, the beef and especially, the "Gruyére Popovers" are second to none.

You can go to the Lower West Side (Greenwich Village South) and you can find a tiny; and I mean tiny Indian restaurant called Milon. If you really want to go to India, spare the expense and aggravation of hours in flight...go to Milon! The atmosphere is just magical, entirely immersed in the culture, no question. The sensation is of being inside a school bus with a thousand Christmas lights and music from Bollywood. You not only feel in Mumbai, you eat like it and have as much fun as if you were...out of this world! If possible, bring someone for heir birthday, and let the servers know...you will remember me forever. Food can be ordered The lunch can be ordered without resentment, as they always bring different types of spices for you to enjoy your meal "hot". We ordered 5 different dishes to try a little of everything and the truth is, it was an unforgettable night. On Sunday the whole idea is to walk in Central Park or if possible, go to SoHo and make reservations for brunch. Normally, when I know weeks in advance, I call my definite favorite in town. It is Balthazar, no question. This is a French bistro that just transport you to Paris or Marseille. It is very loud, it is very crowded, it is very difficult to get a table, but it is VERY, VERY MUCH WORTH it. I can tell you, having tried almost everything on the menu, they have nothing not to like. Everything is fresh, and made to order, and soooooooo delicious.

School starts…. Be alert and watch for children Kissimmee, FL - Osceola County Schools are starting the 2015-2016 school year on Monday, August 24, 2015. This means school buses will be on the roads and more children will be out on the streets walking or riding bikes to and from school. The Kissimmee Police Department wants to remind drivers to watch for the children and be aware of all school zones and stop for school buses.

Kissimmee Police warn of IRS Phone Scam Kissimmee, FL - Kissimmee Police Department is warning citizens of an IRS phone scam that is reoccurring. The Kissimmee Police Department along with the Internal Revenue Service is warning citizens about a phone scam. Yesterday, a citizen alerted detectives of a phone message received on his cell phone. The message stated that the IRS was calling to alert the citizen that a law suit was being filed against them. To get more information about the case, the citizen was to call a number immediately. The voice was computer generated and the citizen knew it was most likely a scam and did not respond to the voicemail, but called police. If you receive a call of this nature, do not call the number back and

do not send any money. Do not fall prey to this scam. Per the IRS website, the Internal Revenue Service will never call to demand immediate payment, nor will the agency call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill. The IRS will never demand you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe. The IRS will never require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes. The IRS will never ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone and they will never threaten to bring in local police to have you arrested for not paying. Orlando City terminó con un empate ante el Philadelphia Union Orlando, FL - El sábado pasado en el Citrus Bowl, 28,495 aficionados acudieron a apoyar a los Leones con la esperanza de una victoria.Algunas caras nuevas se abrieron paso en el juego por Orlando. El novato Connor Donovan hizo su primera aparición en la MLS por los Lyons. Desafortunadamente, Donovan fue derribado duro en el juego a solo diez minutos y no volvió. Fue diagnosticado más tarde con una rotura de ligamentos en su rodilla izquierda y se perderá el resto de la temporada. El

nativo de Orlando, de 18 años de edad, Tommy Redding reemplazó a Donovan hiciendo su debut en la MLS. Redding mostró gran compostura e hizo varias jugadas defensivas que mantuvieron a Filadelfia sin poder anotar. Redding se mostró grande cuando intento con un cabezaso anotar el primer gol para Orlando. Tanto Orlando como Filadelfia permanecieron con mala suerte durante el partido, ya que no pudieron encontrar su camino hacia

el marcador. En los últimos minutos de juego, el apretado calendario de Orlando y los juegos anteriores parecieron reflejarse en su actuación. Se veían cansados y derrotados pero el portero de los Lyons, Tally Hall, permaneció concentrado e hizo numerosos rescates. El próximo partido de Orlando es este domingo en Seattle. Los Leones no volverán al Citrus Bowl hasta el 29 de agosto.

Orlando City anunció que el ex León, Rob Valentino fue nombrado entrenador asistente de la franquicia del club de la USL. Valentino se unirá a Anthony Pulis, entrenador del club. Valentino llegó a Orlando en el 2011 durante la temporada inaugural del club. Ganó tres temporadas regulares del campeonato de la USL y dos títulos de la post temporada. Valentino también fue capitán mientras estuvo con el club, así como un favorito de los fans.

Orlando City finished with a draw against the Philadelphia Union Orlando, FL - Last Saturday at the Citrus Bowl, 28,495 fans came out to root on the Lions in hopes of a win. Some new faces made their way into the game for Orlando. Rookie Connor Donovan made his first MLS start for City. Unfortunately, Donovan was brought down hard just ten minutes into the game and would not return. He was later diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee and will miss the remainder of the season. Orlando native and 18 year old Tommy Redding replaced Donovan making his MLS debut. Redding showed great composure and made multiple defensive plays that kept Philadelphia from scoring. He came up big for Orlando when he got his head on the ball that would have made it in the goal. Both Orlando and Philadelphia remained unlucky during the match as neither could find their way on to the scoreboard. In the final minutes of play, Orlando’s

full schedule and past games looked to be catching up to them. They looked tired and defeated but City’s goalkeeper, Tally Hall, remained focus and made numerous saves. Orlando’s next match is this Sunday in Seattle. The Lions won’t return to the Citrus Bowl until August 29th. Orlando City announced that former Lion, Rob Valentino was named Assistant Coach of the club’s USL franchise. Valentino will join Anthony Pulis, the club’s Head Coach. Valentino came to Orlando in 2011 during the club’s inaugural season. He won three regular season USL Championships and two post season titles. Valentino was also captain while with the club as well as a fan favorite.
