6 . El Osceola Star . September 21 - 27 , 2018.

USCIS - New U.S Citizens USCIS está dando la bienvenida a USCIS welcomes approximately 45,000 New aproximadamente 45,000 nuevos ciudadanos U.S.

Washington — U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) today announced the agency will celebrate Constitution Day and Citizenship Day, observed on Sept. 17, with over 260 naturalization ceremonies across the country from Sept. 14 to 23 as part of this year’s celebration of Constitution Week. Approximately, 45,000 lawful permanent residents will become America’s newest citizens during the annual commemoration honoring both the signing of the U.S. Constitution 231 years ago on Sept. 17, 1787, and an observance that began in 1940 as “I Am an American Day.” USCIS’ Constitution Week activities will feature a naturalization ceremony at Oatlands Historic House and Gardens in Leesburg, Virginia where USCIS Director L. Francis Cissna will administer the Oath of Allegiance and provide congratulatory remarks to new U.S. citizens. View the list of 2018 Constitution Week naturalization ceremonies. “We reflect this week on what it means to be an American and the integral nexus between the Constitution and citizenship,” said Cissna. “The Constitution plays an essential role in the lives of all Americans, but particularly for those who are Americans by choice. It not only establishes the rule of law, but also creates the framework for the lawful immigration system that exists today, empowering immigrants to become citizens.” Critically, although USCIS has experienced a sustained 25 percent increase in the number of naturalization applications over the last two fiscal years on average, annual naturalization totals have

not slowed. In fact, USCIS is on pace to complete at least 829,000 N-400 applications for naturalization in FY18, the highest since 2013 and nearing its 10-year high in the number of N-400s processed. The current approval rate is within one percent of the average since 2013 despite a historic influx of applications. The average approval rate from 2013-2017 is 91 percent. “This is a testament to the dedication, diligence and hard work put forth by adjudicators and agency staff each day,” Cissna said. In response to the record workload, USCIS has implemented a range of process and operational reforms, hired additional staff and expanded its facilities to ensure that its ability to lawfully adjudicate applications keeps pace with the escalating demand for services. Each year, USCIS welcomes approximately 700,000 to 780,000 new citizens during naturalization ceremonies across the United States and around the world. In FY 2017 the agency naturalized more than 716,000 individuals. The importance of the Constitution in the United States is reflected in several places on the naturalization test. Prospective citizens may see this in questions such as, “What does the Constitution do?” and “What do we call the first ten amendments to the Constitution?” For more information about the naturalization process and filing online visit our website at uscis.gov or follow us on Twitter (@uscis), Instagram (/uscis), YouTube (/ uscis), and Facebook (/uscis).

8 Clubs that could win the Champions League not on it for a while (2011). Although Paris Saint Germain - Ligue 1 champions 13 points ahead. Cup champions for the 5th consecutive year. Record of goals in the first round of Champions League. Despite this, PSG's 2017-18 season was a failure. The main objective was always the Big Eared Trophy, even more after buying Neymar and Mbappé. Now, with a much more capable coach in Tuchel, the Parisians have everything to win the first UCL in their history. #7 Liverpool The current runner-ups were reinforced this summer (Alisson, Fabinho, Keita, Shaqiri), and have the stunning trio of Salah-Mané-Firmino, but the Reds need to put their priorities in order. Is it more important to lift the UCL trophy for the 6th time? Or win the Premier League for the 1st time since 1990? #6 Bayern Munich - Bayern is slowly becoming an old team. Robben, Neuer, Ribéry, Lewandowski, all are over 30 years old. The youngest part of this Bayern is ... the coach. Niko Kovac took command of the team a few weeks ago and will take charge of a dressing room that got Ancelotti himself fired last September. The Bavarians have 6 leagues in a row but have been out of the UCL final for 5 straight years. #5 Real Madrid - When you lose the best player you've had in 50 years, and the coach who made you three-time European champion, you'll definitely have a downgrade. Lopetegui is a coach more than capable, and Madrid continues to have stars by the bunch. But they did not replace Cristiano Ronaldo, and his quota of over 50 goals per year is impossible to supply. They will put too much trust in the health of Gareth Bale. #4 Manchester City Guardiola is a coach who made his name mainly in this competition but has

Pep has been very successful in the local league, sweeping last year in the Premier League and winning the Bundesliga 3 times, continental success has been denied. Now, in Manchester the goal is no longer the local success: they want to reach a Champions final for their 1st time. #3 Barcelona - For a club like FÇB, falling in the Champions quarter finals is a failure. Now, 3 years in a row... it's too much. After reaching semis every year from 2008 to 2013, 4 of the last 5 years they have been left out of them. Barca has come down since Guardiola’s farewell, each time playing less in their style and more dependent on Lio Messi. To re-raise the Orejona, the Catalans need to return to their former formula: build the team around Messi, not wait for him to do 80% of the work. They have the names for it: Coutinho, Dembelé, Suárez, Rakitic, Busquets, Vidal. #2 Juventus - Juve does not have the respect it deserves. They’ve won Serie A 7 consecutive years and Coppa Italia for the last 4, and all without the need for multi-million-dollar contributions. Today they have one of the most expensive rosters in Europe, and they have the top scorer in the history of the Champions League, Cristiano Ronaldo, surrounded by Dybala, Costa, Mandzukic, Matuidi and Pjanic. #1 Atlético de Madrid - An atmosphere of optimism is breathed in Madrid. After the failure in Champions last year, Atleti has everything to play the final at home. The colchoneros have the best squad of their history. To the names of Diego Costa, Oblak, Godin, Koke, Saul, Giménez, Filipe Luis, Hernández, Correa, we must add Lemar, Rodrigo, Martins, Arias and Kalinic, all commanded by the star of the world champion, Antoine Griezmann.
