Aeropuerto de Orlando rompiendo records y continúa siendo el más ocupado en la Florida Orlando, FL - Si tuviera que describir 2018 en una palabra para MCO sería: crecimiento. Las aerolíneas continúan agregando nuevos destinos, más asientos y más vuelos. Los números de pasajeros continúan aumentando y superando los pronósticos. En 2018 se agregarán 37 nuevas rutas domésticas, de las cuales 18 no fueron atendidas anteriormente y 26 nuevas rutas internacionales, de las cuales 12 no fueron servidas anteriormente. El conteo de pasajeros a 12 meses para julio aumentó a 46.3 millones, un 24% más en los últimos tres años. La fuerza motriz serían los pasajeros internacionales que han

crecido un 33%, mientras que el tráfico nacional ha crecido un 23%. The 12-month passenger count for July rose to 46.3 million, up 24% over the last three years. The driving force would be international

passengers who have grown 33%, while domestic traffic has grown 23%. The number of seats into the market has risen 23% since 2015 and number of flights have risen 23% and number of flights have risen 13% to almost 870 flights per day. This means airlines are not only adding flights but also larger aircraft. U.S. Postal Service News El Servicio Postal de los Estados Unidos anuncia nuevos precios para 2019 Washington - El Servicio Postal de los Estados Unidos presentó hoy ante la Comisión Reguladora Postal (PRC) los cambios en los precios que entrarán en vigor el 27 de enero de 2019. OCHS welcomes Kimberly Murray as new Executive Director Kissimmee, FL Effective October 1, 2018, Kimberly Murray became the new Executive Director of the Osceola County Historical Society. Kimberly has a Master of Science Degree in Human Services Management. Prior to joining the OCHS team, Kimberly began her journey in the nonprofit sector in 1997 with the Brain Injury Association of Florida where she found her true calling of non-profit management. Kimberly has also been involved with the arts, culture, and humanities non-profit sector through her experience with VSA Ohio, a statewide organization that promotes the arts for persons with disabilities, AHA! A Hands-on Adventure, a children’s museum, and Art & Clay on Main, an art studio for people with and without disabilities. Most recently, Kimberly was the Executive Director of a unique, citywide Home Owners Association in North Oaks, Minnesota for 3 years. “In coming to the Osceola County Historical Society, I am hoping to use my experience and skills for strong governance and efficiency that will help the organization to continue its pattern of growth and preservation of the history of the county”, says Kimberly Murray, Osceola County Historical Society Executive Director. Magical start of the season

Orlando Florida Magic vence agónicamente al Miami Heat, 104101, en el inicio de la temporada 2018-19 de la NBA. La historia se repitió, ya que al igual que el año pasado, Orlando ganó su primer partido en casa frente a Miami en el Amway Center. En esta ocasión, ¡en un estadio casi lleno y plagado de aficionados que gritaban “let’s go heat!”, la expectativa era alta para el debut de Mo Bamba en el basquetbol profesional, así como ver el primer partido de Steve Clifford como entrenador del Magic.
